This place wasn’t the best, but sure could have been a whole lot better. There are worse places I have been to, but about a million better places in the Chicagoland. However, when shopping at the outlets, one can’t be too choosy. The managers friendliness and freshness of the bread were the best parts, everything else was pretty mediocre. The guys cooking were all yelling and having a good time, so there is that. The meat was sparse and bland, and there was no real seasoning or flavor to it. The fries were also bland, but after putting a little season salt on them, we’re pretty okay. Overall, as I said, could have been better, but could have been worse. Pretty typical of your standard food court restaurant. Mediocrity is typical and this place doesn’t break the mold.

Overpriced. Very sparse on the meat; did like the veggies with it. All in all it was disappointing. I like Cheesesteak but Subway beats this hands down.

Over priced. No better than great steak. Slow service. Only 2 people in front of me and it took five minutes before my food even went on grill.

I typically like these types of sandwich places, but the boy ringing me up literally had his iPhone in his left hand just holding it the entire time! Seriously, it was white and had a leather book-like case that was flipped open. So distracted by the conversation he wished he was having, he rang me up for more than I ordered. I, basically, had to spell out that I didn’t order a combo. Then, he hopped right back on his phone and started having a loud conversation right in front of me. How freakin rude! Later he touches my the inside of the paper bowl-like packaging(without gloves) with his thumb! Gross! I told him that I want the lady to finish making my sandwich. I will never eat there again. The sandwich was just ok, but the bread was on the edge of stale.

So let me just say, I got forced into going to this mall. And no, I’m not a fan of this mall at all!(Any place that charges even the employees to park makes me sick!) But, none the less, I was there, and I was hungry. So we walked around and looked at all the food options, and picked here. I ordered the traditional philly with onions, green pepper, and mushrooms with provolone cheese. Let me just start off by saying THANKYOU for not deep frying my veggies! I despise nothing more than going to these types of places in the mall and they throw my meat on the grill and veggies in the fryer. The actual meat and veggies tasted great! The only down side of the sandwich is the bread. I’m not sure if possibly next time they will toast it, but that I think would have made this my favorite philly ever.(If I ever go back to this mall Ill ask.) I also shared some fried and a drink with my boyfriend. The fries were yummy and not super greasy. I think for a regular size combo its about $ 10 which at this«outlet mall» that isn’t actually outlet, that’s as good as it will get. Also this mall I guess(ask here and at the pretzel place), doesn’t allow REFILLS. Which I thought must have been a joke! But no, not even paid refills. So please throw your cup, lid, and straw away(because our landfills are not crowded enough) and bust out the debit card again to shell out another $ 1.75 for a med drink. All in all– I did really enough the sandwich, and I’d definitely like to have another one just for the simple fact it tasted fresh and was all grilled together like it should be.
