Pizza Hut

This place is amazing: each time I go, it gets a little worse.
I went by to pick up a take out order a few weeks ago and I watched a surly employee and a hapless manager nearly come to blows, yelling at each other and getting violent, making me fear that I was about to be interviewed on the news as a witness to a murder.
Whoever owns this place has no idea what they are doing.
Hire some good staff and start over.

This has got to be the shittiest damn Pizza Hut on the planet. Their phone line had the worst possible disturbance and the dumb half wit taking the order couldn’t type the address or find it. THE WORST DAMN PIZZA HUT PERIOD.

What is up with their delivery radius??? I have no idea why they don’t deliver to Narberth. It is less than a 15 minute drive, just two teeny tiny towns over. I would give this place so much business as I hate to cook and love their wings. If Domino’s in Bryn Mawr will deliver to me in Narberth then why won’t Pizza Hut???

I didn’t really care when the Papa John’s closed, but I was pretty excited when I saw a Pizza Hut was opening in its place. Papa John’s is meh, but Pizza Hut is delightful. Here’s how my experience measured up.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: ⁰⁄₅
I had placed a carry-​out order. When I arrived at the Pizza Hut, these two idiot kids were standing at the counter trying to order. It took them ten minutes to figure it out. «No no dude, it’ll be cheaper if we get this and just split it.» Etc. etc. The entire time, the cashier did not so much as acknowledge my presence. Not a single «I’ll be with you in a moment,» or «sorry sir, please bear with us.» Not even an apologetic glance in my direction. As I stood there waiting, another customer walked in. Once the moron kids had ordered, the cashier began serving the new customer. WTF! The cashier was again completely oblivious to my presence, even as I threw my arms up in the air in protest. One of the cooks from the back actually came up to the front and helped me out, since he must have noticed I was being neglected. In the end, I got my pizza, but I left the place furious.

What can I say; Pizza Hut is magical. The pizza could be a bit crispier, but otherwise it’s delicious.
RESTAURANT: ²⁄₅
Given that it’s only a delivery/​carry-​out location, I don’t expect much in terms of ambiance. That said, it’s pretty cramped, and quite noisy.

Even though Pizza Hut is delicious, the poor customer service has deterred me from ever ordering from here again. I’m going back to Domino’s. It’s easily just as good, and much friendlier.
