Too bad I cant give them negative stars. These ppl have no idea what they are doing. I wanted to open a new line, they said I wasn’t authorized but I should call at&t to get authorization and then go back. I did just that, but guess what, when I went back the bect day nobody knew how or what to do. They are really slow too. Do not waste your time here.

I went into the store 2 weeks ago on a Saturday morning to get my phone activated. The girl working there did a poor job explaining things and had a negative attitude. It was clear that she didn’t want to help and was just there to collect a paycheck. I didn’t catch her name but she was in her 20’s and Hispanic. If i was her manager, I’d fire her immediately. Also, my wife and brother both independently have had bad experiences with this store. My brother intentionally drives further out to the Golf Mill store to avoid this one. I recommend all readers to do something similar.

I never actually went into this store because I was so turned off, and I will not give them my business at this location. I called to see about switching over service. I wanted to, but I had a few questions. Instead of the person over the phone answering the questions for me or even inviting me in to the store. He said«I’m busy, don’t have time.» He then hung up the phone. Completely rude. That is not how you handle anyone, let alone someone who wants to give you their business.

STAYAWAYFROMTHISSTORE. BEWARE. After going to the Niles, IL dealer location and them not having the phone I wanted I decided to find another location that had the phone. So I called this store and spoke to Susan. She told me they had the phone I wanted. So I drove over there and walked in this store, and let me say I saw three employees in their and not one customer. Anyways, Susan went in back to get the type of phone I wanted, it took her about a minute to go into the back then Susan began to ring me up. I informed her that I just wanted to upgrade my phone and keep my two-year contract. Well, this is where it all went down hill. Susan began to tell me that this store was just a retailer and they were not a dealer store and therefore, could not do the two year contract and that I would have to go to an ATT dealer store. I thought to myself WHAT? I told her, this doesn’t sound right. So, I left the store a bit upset and called AT&T myself and explained to them what just happened. The AT& T rep said they never heard of this. The AT&T rep said they should have no problem giving me the 2yr contract and even asked me to go back into the store while they were on the line. So I did. A not so friendly lady asked me how she could help me and I asked to speak to the manager. She said she was. Her name was Vivian. So I informed her I had an AT&T rep on the phone and if she would like to speak with her. Vivan stated(with an attitude) I can not speak to them on your phone. I said would you like me put them on speaker or have them call you? She again replied with an attitude. She then told me there systems were down and she has to call someone else to activate my account. She asked me for my phone number to look up my account. She told me to lower my voice and I told her this is how I talked. She again told me to lower my voice. I again, told her this is how I talk. The other two employees at this time grab there phones and started texting, who knows? At this point I started to feel like I should walk out of the store. Meanwhile the AT&T guy was listening to everything that was being said. Vivian went into the back to get the phone but this time she was back there for about 5 minutes. I thought to myself what is she doing back there? Why is it taking her so long to get the same phone Susan got earlier? Again no one was in this store. When she came back out her attitude at this point was just rude. I felt so uncomfortable that I told her forget it and walked out. The At&T rep who was still on the line said he couldn’t believe what just happened to me. I even went home and right away changed my passwords that how uncomfortable I felt with this Rosemont store. He informed me that this store has many complaints and that I should file one as well so, I did. I have since found another AT&T store that I had purchased my new phone at and told them my experience at this location(Rosemont) they agreed with me that Rosemont location has horrible customer service. I highly recommend to stay away from this store. Very unprofessional!
