Here with my newborn for his first check up, the nurses are pretty friendly. I’ve seen them helping out elder guardians with patiences. Dr. Fan seems pretty experienced and friendly, he’s patience with our endless questions (new parents:)
The wait time was not bad, our appointment was at 3 and we left at 3:40. Pretty satisfied.

This is a husband & wife team, Dr. Jennifer Shih & Dr. Fan Bunchean. They have been my kids pediatrician from day 1 at birth (14 yrs so far). Dr. Bunchean usually stays in the office & sees the patients while Dr. Shih does rounds in the hospital.
Their office gets pretty busy. Especially afternoon & on Saturday. On Wednesday & Saturday, they are only open from 9 AM –12 PM (Holidays including Chinese New Years have different schedules). Make sure to call to double check. They accept most insurance, medical, & of course cash.
Dr. Bunchean is a pretty nice Dr. He listens to what you have to say. Pays Attention to your complaints & symptoms. He doesn’t rush you. He’s on top of school forms, notes, & vaccinations needed to be updated.
The office staffs are nice. They have Spanish speaking staffs to help you & of course they Speak Mandarin & Cantonese. Unfortunately, they don’t have anyone speaking Vietnamese. Parking is in the back & also side streets. The office is fairly easy to locate. They’re near a Jack In The Box, INN N OUT, & Rosemead High School.
