It’s been 11 years since I’ve needed their services. Prior to seeing them, I went to 8 General practice MDs, 2 gastroenterologists, and 2 herbalists. I’ve also had 2 gastrointestinal studies done at a hospital. No one could figure out why I was having this problem at my tender age of 23. They said it was normal if I was 60. My problem? I constantly was bloated. I burped constantly and I felt nausea all the time. At extreme times of bloating, I’d feel extremely nauseous and literally throw up balls of gas. Nothing would come out… Just a loud embarrassing horn noise! This had been going on for almost 2 years.
My mom suggested I try acupuncture. She figured I had nothing to lose and I’ve tried everything else. (she was worried no one would want to marry a girl who burped all the time and I’d be living under her roof forever … Lol)
Using their broken English, the Dr tried to explain what was going on with me. After I described my illness, his reply was «aaaaahhh… Happens all the time. Don’t worry. «What a relief to hear these magical words! I was afraid to believe him but I hoped for the best.
After the first 2 treatments, my bloating decreased about 65%! After the 3^rd and 4^th treatment, I felt like my progress had plateaued. After the 5^th and 6 th treatment, the Dr had said he’s taken me as far as he can… Which was about 80% cured. He went on to say the 20% was either going to slowly dissipate or I’d live with it forever. He was right in both regards… It sometimes comes back but never to the awful nauseous pain I used to endure. I’m eternally grateful for his patience, knowledge, and expertise. His honestly is also refreshing. On the past day of my treatment, he said he didn’t want to take anymore of my money and gave me an honest prognosis. 11 years later… And I’m still practically free from this illness!
