Take out runners should not be trusted at all. They are not trustworthy. They DONOT have any professional ethics at all. I am a restaurant owner who used to use them and when I realized that they were cheating the customers I pulled them back. They never have any consistent pricing… they will charge one price one day and then they will charge another price another day for the same item. They upcharge almost 30% more than the menu price apart from the delivery charge and 15% tips. Take Out Runners take money from the delivery of food from the restaurants and don’t pay them at all. They had to pay us for the last 4 months and whenever we try to connect with them they don’t respond. The owner Fadi does not care about the business. I did a blunder by getting connected with this company. The order takers are also ill informed about the work they do and they give false information to the clients and when asked they respond in the rudest possible manner. I wish they close their business and someone serious person can take over this business. It has tremendous potential only if it is run in the most honest manner.

Ordered my food via grub hub. These losers were tasked with bringing me my food. They were a no show 2 hours after placing my order with no way to contact them. Weak.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering through this company! I ordered Buona Beef through Takeout Runners and the order was supposed to be here at 12:52 at the latest. I called around 1, and Buona Beef told me the order was ready, but nobody had come to pick it up yet. They were nice enough to call the company for me(when I called, I got their voicemail). The delivery guy ended up coming at around 1:15. The food was definitely still hot, and he apologized. It sounded like he had double checked my order when picking it up for accuracy; he assured me my side of giardiniera was in there. He was also clean cut and very nice. So the actual face-to-face part was a nice experience, but I don’t think I’d risk using them again unless I find out they really changed things, because I don’t want to feel trapped! Like I’m waiting for something and have no clue when it’s going to arrive. My food was not unbearably late, but from other reviews, it sounds like they just let things slide sometimes and there’s not much you can really do about it. You’re just stuck waiting(and hungry!!).

Well a co-worker and I decided to order sushi for lunch. Upon calling the restaurant we were informed to call take out runners for our delivery request. After ordering, about an hour later I got a phone call explaining that the driver was lost. After 20 minutes on the phone we finally discovered they had the wrong street name. So another 30 minutes and our food arrived. My spring rolls were cold and soggy. The gyoza was good, yet still cold. Sushi was nicely packed, but my boba tea was iceless. :(I feel bad for the driver, but the company should be more thorough as well as not call from the main office that is located in another state. Talking with the driver himself would have made things happen faster and easier. Maybe next time it will be better…

Absolutely horrible business. I have never written a review on a business before but people need to know how horrible this business is. I called Thumka Indian Bar and Grill and asked if they delivered and they said they use Takeout Runners if people want delivery. I proceeded to going on and ordered through them paying a $ 3.99 delivery fee on top of 15% tip for the driver. I paid almost $ 30 in total. They said it was going to take 30 – 45 minutes so I was waiting patiently even though I as ravenous. 1 hour and 30 minutes later, there was still no sign of food coming so I called the customer service line for Takeout Runners and someone picked up but told me to hold and then I was taken to the mailbox which was full so I couldn’t even leave a message. I called several times after and still only got the mailbox. So I called Thumka Indian Bar and Grill and asked them if someone had come to pick up the food for delivery. They said they didn’t receive any to-go orders the whole day. They apologized and said they would get in touch with . Someone from Takeout Runner called me and apologized saying there was 10 orders in front of me and there was only one driver for the day. Mind you this is a Saturday afternoon and there’s always plenty of people that don’t feel like going out and being lazy all day so why do they only have 1 driver for the whole of Schaumburg, Roselle, and etc. When I asked for my money back because I was sick and tired of waiting they said I would have to call grubhub in order to get my money back. SERIOUSLY?! That means I have to be on the phone for god knows how long again. So I told them just bring it to me as soon as they can and the delivery guy came an 40 minutes later. I truly feel sorry for the delivery guy seeing that he has to work at a company that has no organization. I will never again use this business to get delivery. HORRIBLEHORRIBLEBUSINESS. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star let alone any business!

I have to say I was very disappointed with my experiance here. My food was an hour late and arrived cold. When it was over 30 mins late it showed as delivered on the website I had to call to find out someone updated it wrong no attempted was made to correct or help the situation I was told then that the food would be there within 5 mins it was another 20 before it showed up.
