Horrible Horrible dentist, will be calling BBB on him and his wife which is the«receptionist» i went there for a cleaning and they noticed i needed a root canal and through various sessions had it done… the initial crown he put was huge and clearly was not done properly after months of agony i called and they told me oh that’s how it is after calling and complaining again he did another crown which also is awful… after i left the office it fell out… he said that was due to the fact he forgot to put cotton and dry my tooth before applying the cement… it had been a few months and the crown had still been bothering me so i called my insurance to see what i could do i actually found out i had been OVERCHARGED by them $ 500 and i called his wife(the receptionist) to inform them which clearly they were aware of, only to be told ohh nooo that’s impossible… then once the dentist checked he saw clearly they did and said he would write me a check and if i wanted he could refund me the money for the actual crown seeing as i was unhappy and we could just part ways and i would go to another dentist. NOW i call him seeing as the CROWNFELLOUTTODAY only to be told ohh well i didn’t say i would refund you the money refunded to you was for the crown… i then proceeded to explain no the money refunded was for money i was OVERCHARGED by you and your wife. He just left it at oh well when i get a moment to look at my paperwork ill let you know what i found. From he looks of it i may be contacting my lawyer.

I decided to transfer to this clinic after I found out that the clinic I was originally assigned to by my insurance did not have openings to do a root canal until April. Prior to transferring, I called their office and asked the receptionist if they did root canals. She said they did. I called my insurance and requested our whole family to be transferred to that clinic. After that I called to schedule 3 dental exam appointments with them for my husband, our son, and myself. The receptionist scheduled those appointments only after she took my credit card information and repeatedly warned me about $$ fines if the appointment was missed or was not rescheduled 24 hour in advance. After the head ache of scheduling our family annual exams with her, I told her that I wanted to schedule my root canal appointment right away because I knew that it was a 2 hour appointment and I wanted to get the time slot that suited me the best. She said that unfortunately she couldn’t do that because Dr. Scotti would have to refer me somewhere else for that appointment. I asked her why was that because the whole point I transferred to them was to have my root canal done. She said that my insurance did not cover the root canal to be done at their office. I called my insurance and they told me that their office had to do my root canal and if they were to refer me somewhere else, they would have to pay for it. I called the receptionist and told her what I was told by my insurance. To which she just LAUGHED. I mean, literally. I was shocked by such unprofessional and rude reaction. I told her that she was welcome to speak to my insurance herself. She continued her giggling while I was telling her the number. After which, she tolled me that she never heard of such thing and if I really needed her to call them, ok, she’ll do it, but again, she never heard of something like that. All the while laughing and making it look like she was doing me a favor. I called my insurance as soon as I hang up with her and filed a complaint, regretting so much doing my business with that office. My insurance did an investigation on that office and told me that this office should never have been on the list of my providers. I was glad that my transfer to them was banned. It was by far the WORST experience I have ever had scheduling anything.
