DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE – I went to have a cap put back on and was advised to go to an oral surgeon to have the foundation extracted — I went to another dental office 1 hour later and they put the cap back on in 10 minutes. The Shalman dentists also spoke Russian to a colleague which I do not understand and I found it very disrespectful as if they were talking behind my back. I feel as though I was being set up for implants with which the dentist would make much more money from the insurance company. Putting a cap back on is basic dentistry and instead of doing that they wanted me to extract the foundation – If another dentist was able to easily put the cap back on with adhesive –why couldn’t the Shalman dentists? I suspect it was about soaking my insurance company at the expense of my dental health and well being. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. STAY AWAY!!!

Great doctor! I know her for almost 13 years. She is great doctor, she cares about her patients. She has always smile and different story to tell. Love her!

This is the best dentist not only in Roselle, but in the whole central New Jersey area. Dr. Shalman has been at this location for over 5 years, and before that in Elizabeth, NJ.
She received her dental degree from New York University in 1995, and before that was a licensed dentist in Europe.
Her hands skills are impeccable, considering she got both a European and American education. She performs work better and is not as expensive as some of the local competitors.
The one thing that sets Dr. Jane Shalman apart is her personality. She’s the nicest dentist you will ever meet, hands down. She’s warm, friendly, and charming, and makes you feel like you are in truly safe hands when you are here.

This office provides services such as family dentistry, Dr. Jane Shalman and the staff are excellent with children, as well as older patients. Cleaning, Cavities, Root Canals, Crowns, Dentures, Bridges, Teeth whitening, and a variety of cosmetic procedures all fall into the wide array of dentistry that Dr. Jane Shalman delivers so capably.
Dr. Jane Shalman and Manager Simon Shalman are bilingual in English and Russian, while the ladies at the front desk and assistants are bilingual in English, Spanish, and a bit of Portuguese.
This office also provides access to interest free credit on larger dental work through a financial company. It’s very easy to get approved for sums of several hundreds of dollars. In addition to this, most insurances are taken, so feel free to call and ask the front desk to verify you and make an appointment.
The office utilizes the latest techniques and technology in infection control. All proper instruments are autoclaved to destroy all microbes and their spores, meaning that you can feel very safe in this environment. The office also requests OSHA personal to come in to make sure the staff is trained in any new standards that may come up.
There is much more that could be said about the office, but I think I’ve said enough. I think that now it’s time to experience it.
