Horrible customer service. Ordered a pie and was told 30 minutes. I waited forty minutes and nothing. So I called and was told they were on the way. I live 5 minutes away. Over an hour and they never came. Had to cancel and go get pizza at another place.

Had delivery several times. Pizza is good, always delivered piping hot — sandwiches are just okay. I ordered a few different ones here and there but didn’t really get bowled over by any of them.

Their pizzas good. I go to the salon next door. Sometimes they deliver to me. The shrimp pizza is the bomb. The don’t have it always though which is understandable. The pizza is always good. Always hot.

I came here last week and noticed something I am surprised no one else has noticed yet. They DO NOT WEAR GLOVES while preparing your food. When I ordered a sandwich here, I saw them handling it with their bare hands while putting on the peppers and onions. If you don’t believe me, watch them if you dare to still eat here. Not worth coming here again unless they start using gloves.
Also, their french fries are so salty, that I thought I was going to have a heart attack while eating them.
Lastly, I noticed the heavy set old guy (I think is the boss/​manager) constantly yells at the younger staff and treats them very rudely. Just not a pleasant atmosphere.

Pompeii in Roselle Park has become our FIRST CHOICE in deliciousness, customer service and price! These folks are the REAL DEAL and have everything it takes to be a 5 Star Pizzeria/​Restaurant!!! I am a regular ordering customer and intend to be for a LONG TIME!!! SO GLAD they have come to Roselle Park, as all the other pizzerias have not been anywhere NEAR their yumminess!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My sister, a vegan from Philadelphia just had their Veggie Wrap, and told me it was «The BEST she’s ever had!» Keep up the cooking friends!!!

GREAT pizza! My ONLY complaint: We weren’t a fan of the fried calamari, it was obviously a frozen/​pre-​made product, and they didn’t have lemon! Otherwise everything is amazing!

Ordered the VEGETARIAN pizza pie tonight. Arrived soggy in the middle with too much cheese and too many toppings. Yes — too much. It was all glopped in the middle of the pie… sloppy and soggy. Less is sometimes more. There’s no artistry in pie-​making at this place. The fundamentals of what makes a good, thin-​crust pizza is lost.

This pizzeria is walking distance from where my wife and I live. I have to say that our first experience, months after the opening unfortunately, was great. We had the medium Grandma pie and it was delicious. Fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, and a great sauce made it a tasty dinner. Also, not washing dishes is always good. Can’t wait to explore the menu again. 5 Stars!

I have had a few selections from the pizza menu at this location. I can say with certainty that this is a very nice pie. Their margherita style pie was an exercise in pizza goodness, with nice fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, a super thin crispy crust, and the slightest hint of spice to accompany the sweetness. Smelling the sensual scent of the fresh basil leaves steeping in the tomato sauce had me fighting visions of swan diving into the box in my car’s back seat… While I was in traffic…
I usually stop in for a couple of slices and a can of soda. Mesto, the shop’s vertically gifted clerk, is always courteous and even delivers the pizza himself. I quite like the white and spinach pizzas for this and am charged about $ 5 — quite reasonable if you ask me. And for this reason they have me as a repeat customer.
