Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Jamal in the Roselle Park NJ office is a true professional. He gave great service when he started over a year ago. He continues to give the best Customer service.

I rented a car for two weeks. I was picked up within a few minutes of calling. Sticker shock: When they run your card to prepay THEY ADD AND ADDITIONAL $ 250.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT, but the $ 250.00 charge is removed when you return the car. Nobody tells you this when you make the reservation. So, after careful planning and budgeting this trip my card declines! I call MasterCard and I’m now $ 23 over limit, so I request a limit increase. Declined. It’s Saturday. I can’t make a payment over the phone because I lost my debit card the day before I left home. All I can do is to go online to make a payment that won’t post until Tuesday. Then the nicest thing happened. Brian (?) said, «Just $ 23?» He overrode it and in a few minutes I was sitting in Hyundai Elantra and my vacation was saved! Two weeks later I returned the vehicle and $ 250 was credited to my account. I will come back to this store the next time I’m in New Jersey, but I would have given a better rating had I not spent 30 minutes in angst.

I have been renting from Enterprise for over 15 years. Years ago was happy with the great Customer Service.
The past few years I have been renting from the Roselle Park NJ office. The service in the last few years are awful. The cars were not in good condition, dirty on the inside. Did I mention the horrible service. They ignore your calls or keep you hold for a good period of time. The explanation for charges don’t match up, don’t make sense. The car was low on oil and needed service. Aren’t these cars up to par before you rent them out to people? I can’t say this for everyone who works there but most of the people there are unprofessional and quality completely down the hill. If you like renting Enterprise cars… go any where else.

It’s rental car place so I don’t go in with real high expectations. The service was excellent, the car was certainly adequate. My issue is with the overall system itself. You are told that you have an allotment of $$ that is covered by insurance. You are given a price quote from Enterprise. My allotment was $ 20 a day. My car was $ 22.49 a day. I used the car for 11 days. 11 X 2.49 + tax = … $ 105!!! Why? Oh, some domestic security fee and some other driver’s license fee. So, I went from $ 2.49 a day to about $ 9 – 10 a day-​hidden fees that nobody tells you about. Again, it’s the system, I guess, but a company cannot get 5 stars when the bill ends up 4 times more than anticipated.

What a tiny little office. I guess I don’t visit many car rental places outside of airports, but I was expecting more. I wonder what this place used to be.
The staff is friendly enough. There’s not a lot they can do in the store, though. It’s very much an «order online, come in and pick it up» style rental place. I wouldn’t even classify the workers as salesmen, which I’ve come to expect from rental places, trying to up-​sell you on every option they have. These guys are just looking to get you out of their store as quickly as possible. Something I can actually appreciate.

I had a great experience with 2 professional non-​discriminatory people at Roselle Park, NJ suburb location there at their ENTERPRISE. My cousin file a complaint with 1 ENTERPRISE in a different area, who LIED, saying,“cars were avail.“we get there? Nope. But worse, the other enterprise in same county, did not only lie, she give the car to a white (business type-​of older) lady (and man) and my fam-​member who is a latina-​hispanic, felt discriminated against, also the employee said something i shall NOT repeat here. Her civil rights lawyer said she has a great claim, so time will tell. You’re not allowed ENTERPRISE to be a racist and or discriminatory for some one hair color, or race, or overweight
, so we went to a diff 1 and made it fine, thanks to ROSELLE PK., Enterprise. My cousin, with the“other union county, Enterprise, she has it all on recording, sure do and it will the lawyer said, help any suit of this kind. She even record it, so this is helping with her complaint, feasibly a lawsuit, yep. But then, we find a non-​discriminatory one in roselle park near a close friend of mine, from suburban residential area of cranford/​linden, nj. the friend told me go to THIS one. We were glad we did. NOW for again the GREAT experience after this hurtful experience, involving my hard working cousin who really needed a rental. Roselle Park Enterprise is 1 of the few best rental places in union county, feasibly all of nj, ny, pa, tri-​state, and here is why everyone:

it is a clean place, great area, nice office, great location. I was happy to see the car i receive as my cousin was spotless.(Even if not on the outer, it is ok, i focus on the inside, clean, A/​C heat work i was happy as my cousin. I am 1 who can easily wash the outside (lil dirt on the bumper tire area)
2^nd:
was jamel or jamil, QUITE professional NOT rude, when i had to help my female cousin out to rent a nice van/​suv. Even with a DEBIT VISA you’re able to come here and rent a nice NEW car, hers was a year ago new and or only a yr. old 2013 – 2014 beautiful inside and out, she was happy. I was refer here by a local inden, cranford family i know well, and we were happy. I had even went back with her, put key in the drop box,(after hours) she work 2 jobs, school
, and everything was A-​OK, and JAMEL even called to ask us, how was the rental etc.;hence, we all will again rent from ROSELLE PK., ENTERPRISE, for EACH 1 of our rentals whenever warranted.
No discrimination, as «some places are doing this illegally, so if this happen to you? File complaint.»
Great help is hard to fine, whose professional, mature and funny personality, just a nice woman she was, i remember KIVA well. Great employee and Jamel.

I am also a fan of the lady i first talk to either «keya or spelled KIVA.» So professional, friendly and that is what we look for when dealing with customer service, or mgr. trainee and or a manager. We WILL recommend this location and will be renting again for a family reunion, come August, before summer’s end. Peace.

opening at 9 on a Saturday is a joke and closing at 1? went to drop off a care that my insurance company (nj manufactures) only uses. I walked in and it looked like a free clinic in new York city. 20 people in a 20×20 building 2 people working, a total joke just to drop off a little shitty care. walked outside and saw a nice girl that works there, she said give me your email and I will email you your receipt, wow thought I hit the jackpot, needless to say never got an email, here we go gotta call my credit card company to contest the 250 deposit. CRAP TOTAL CRAP.

Great customer service. I had to rent a vehicle for a trip. Kiva helped me out so much! She was a very pleasant, professional young woman! Hope they know the gem they have working for them! Thank you Kiva!

My husband and I recently had a car totaled we rented a truck for two weeks no problem. Once my husband returned the truck I realized we left our glasses in the armrest. He immediately reached out to them they informed us the renters husband had the car. But, was positive something was left in the car. The manager said ok we will let you know as soon as possible. The front desk young lady called my husband to inform him they had our glasses and that her Dad rented the truck thankfully. We go in to retrieve them and they are gone everyone remembers them sitting on the cabinet now they are nowhere to be found. The manager takes a rather casual attitude about it them being gone. We literally sat in the waiting area for 2 hours this morning. Carla never return to give a update of her review of the camera video. It’s totally obvious someone who work in the roselle park location stole them. Why is it taking so long for the DM to get back to me about the status. We are a preferred member at Avis and should never have gotten comfortable. Why when a customer return something it was not put in the Manager locked office, desk or safe? What do it say about a company when it employee’s steal knowing the customer was notified. This has truly left a bad taste in my mouth and I can’t say it enough.

Great customer service, Carlos and the rest of the staff are always very helpful and professional. I will continue to use the Roselle Park Enterprise for my car rentals.

Used this place many a times for rentals. Good selection, courteous staff and even gives rides to and from auto shops.
