Right across from the Roselle Park train station, an affordable spot with a well known name for people to stop and buy a drink before catching the train. It’s out of the way of everything else, not in the center of activity by any means. But being a block from the high school and across from the station: they’re usually pretty busy. It’s not the cleanest convenience store, but what is? It’s not a Wawa or anything(I find Wawas to be kept in pristine condition usually), just a normal average convenience store.

Is it really necessary to review a 7-Eleven, I think in this case it is. The Pros about this particular store are that it is clean, and checkout service is quick. Here go the Cons… This store employs the most antisocial, robotic staff ever. I have been in this store several times over the last 3 years and have consistently experienced the same condescending, «I’m doing you a favor«attitude from the checkout clerks. Yes, they are attentive and fast, but would it kill them to say hello or announce the price of your items? No, instead the stiff behind the counter points at the register display. Just as an experiment I have said hello and thank you every time I have been in there, and have NEVER received ANY response. I even gave them the sociopath test, I took my 2 year old in there and she said hi to the zombie behind the counter… NO Reaction. A-Hole Douche Nozzles! I’m sure Roselle Parks locals have been so welcoming and sweet to these Simpson Quickie Mart caricatures, but I mean come on! Lighten up! Last thing, If I hand you a 5 dollar bill, Why would you put the change on the counter as i have my hand out for the change? Answer, You are a Bonafide Douche Nozzle !

As 7 Eleven’s go, this was one of the better ones. Well organized, staff was friendly, no shady business or weird stuff going on. Coffee station was amazingly clean given the hour of the day I was there. Just a word of warning though, watch out for the parking lot, it’s tricky!
