Two chicken dinners to go. One with BBQ sauce, menu says tossed in sauce — reality they give you a container to put on youself. Both dinners missing slaw — response to my call to the restaurant — oh yeah that is my fault, I didn’t put them in the bag — no suggestion on how to fix or offer for discount on future order(which will never happen anyway) just a long pause followed by «have a good day». Now if I take something from your restaurant and do not pay, it is theft. What is it when i pay you for something and you don’t give it to me?

I love the many pizza choices. By far my favorite is the BLT and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. They have really good chicken as long as you can get there when they put the fresh batch. The only thing I wish they had more of was salad dressing options.

We had just spent the last three months cycling across the country, and I had been telling my partner about how awesome it is. We were now on a car ride home from the east coast and had to make Pizza Ranch a stop. The crowd was small, and there was plenty of selection, though the pizzas seems to be getting a little old under the lamp, probably because of low turnover. What we had was pretty good, what I’d expect of buffet food. I didn’t have any salad or other dinner buffet items, though my girlfriend seemed to like the chicken. The cactus bread was delicious as I’ve experienced in the past. We did notice an abundance of Christian rock coming from the speakers, and, as heathens, we were displeased. Otherwise, the place was clean and well-staffed. Pizza Ranch, you’re adequate.

Having been to only one other Pizza Ranch before in Wisconsin Dells my expectations for others was apparently too high as the on in Dells was clean, well stocked and staff was courteous. Pizza was cold, chicken was out several times, soups were empty, chicken bones on floor, bathrooms disgusting. Needles to say this will be my last visit to a Pizza Ranch.

We have been to a few locations in Wisc and found the food, service and cleanliness above par for the price. This location in Roscoe IL is awful. Dirty(chicken bones on the floor of he dining room). Horrible service(server spilled dirty napkins all over my dad, and a glass of liquid on my sons back as she tries to clear the dirty dishes from the tables). Short staffed for a Friday night. The food was constantly running out, they never offered to even ask if we had a pizza we wanted made like mother locations offer. The pizza they brought out was never labeled so you had no idea what it was or what was in it. The salad bar needed to be replenished all the time and was really unkept. The soup ran out so the kettle just had burnt remains in it. The iced tea machine was broken. And the floors by the kitchen and bathrooms were all coated with water making them really slippery. This location was not what I expected and will never go back to this one again. Hope the others do not follow this ones example. I think I finally figured out where«people of Walmart» eat when in Roscoe IL.

This Pizza Ranch is like all the others. Any kind of pizza you can imagine on Buffett, fried chicken, potato wedges, soft serve ice cream, salad, and all high schoolers running the dining room. The nice thing about this place is that you can order any type of pizza to be made specially for you. They bring it right to your table when it’s done. Chicken is usually hot and very crispy, salad is, well it’s salad nothing special. My favorite pizza is the chicken, bacon, ranch and I like the cheesy bread. Don’t expect much other than all you can eat average pizza and chicken.

The pizza is good but the Broasted Chicken is horrible. It is always over cooked and never juicy or flavorful. The one thing I know about Broasted Chicken is that it requires to be marinated before cooking. The best Broasted chicken is always when the proper procedures are followed as recommended by the Broaster Company. I know this personally because my Uncle retired from Broaster as the VP. He has always prepared the Broasted Chicken for our family reunion and it is always perfect. Many other restaurants in the Beloit area prepare & serve Original Broasted Chicken correctly. I would advise that the owner of Pizza Ranch in Roscoe contact Broaster Company for training on proper preparation and Broasting. It will make a huge difference in the taste of their chicken and it will not be burned.

We love Pizza Ranch and go every time we go through a town that has one. This one in Roscoe was terrible. Ice cream machine was broken and one oven was down, making food delivery impossibly slow and no ice cream meant a sad daughter. The management did not do anything to compensate for the lack of service and food. It was a huge disappointment. Clearly this store needs better management as most Pizza Ranch chains are sooooo much better.

I am not sure what all the hype is about, especially all these people saying they are from Chicago? Chicago has Lou Malnati’s and Gino’s East. Pizza Ranch is cheap and ok to take my son to, but the pizza is not much different than a tombstone or jacks, its heat lamp pizza for crying out loud. The chicken is good, but taste like broasted chicken from your grocery store. I really do not get the 5 stars. seriously. 5 stars should go to a top notch restauraunt, not a cheap chain of heat lamp pizza.

I just don’t know about the Pizza Ranch. The food is really good, particularly the chicken and mashed potatoes. For some reason, they refuse to put potato wedges on the buffet and burn their biscuits EVERYTIME. I love their cinnamon pizza, but they never have plain on the buffet, just berry and peach. We asked for a plain Cactus Bread to be made, and the waiter informed us that there was some at the buffet already. There were only two slices left, but I guess that’s OK. I’ve been impressed with the food(they have great ice cream!), but the variety is a little lacking lately.

Real cheese and good crust. I’ve lived here for three years and people would recomend other pizza places. I don’t see why so many have that fake, processed cheese and low grade/canned meat and veggies. People think it’s good? How can you not tell the difference? Pizza Ranch is one of my two favorite’s out here. Taylor St. is my other. I’m impressed and I’m from Chicago. We order here often… I haven’t tried the chicken or the buffet yet so I can’t comment on it… It’s very crowded when I go to pick up. You should have longer delivery hours on the weekends. Sunday included. :)

Agree with Royce. Great service, hearty comfort food. Broasted chicken and thin crust pizza served buffet style. Parking could be an issue from time to time. The employees check faithfully with the patrons to see if they need anything — nice touch. Restaurant is kept clean and neat, even while busy. Great for kids.

My family loves Pizza Ranch. We live in the Chicago area, so we only get to visit every once in a while. This franchise is one of the nicer locations. When we visit, we normally come when the buffet is open as you can sample more of their pizzas. My favorite is the Chicken Bacon Ranch! The staff is friendly, but at times the wait for pizzas on the buffet can be long. Come hungry, leave satisfied!

This is my favorite pizza buffet in the Beloit area. Without question, they make the best Buffalo Chicken pizza in the world.

We love The Pizza Ranch. First off as you come in and pay, they ask t=you if there’s any kind of special pizza that you’d like for them to make for you. From there, they have a salad bar, a pizza buffet with about 8 different pizza’s(they switch up the types frequently) bread sticks, and dessert pizza(either apple cinnamon, peach, cactus bread, or blueberry) They also have a food buffet with the most delicious broasted chicken, potato logs, green beans, mashed potatoes, and two kinds of gravy. The set up is pretty simple, you seat yourself, get youe own beverage and so on. The employees are really on top of things and keep the dirty dishes cleared and the restaurant is very clean. I’d also like to add that the staff is very friendly and we are always made to feel welcome.

Sometimes you just want Quantity over Quality. Pizza is OK for a buffet, but the great dessert pizza and chicken make up for it. The parking lot is very small and we often have to go somewhere else.

Chicken was on par with grocery store broasted, though saltier. Pizza was not enjoyable. Restaurant was not as clean as I like and staff was VERY slow to the point that a couple of groups starting clearing tables so they had a place to sit. No adult employees were visible during our visit, but as we were leaving owner/manager came out to see what was going on in the dining room. $ 30+ for two adults and 14 yo. Will not visit again.

Nice selection of pizza’s. Both the Taco and BLT pizza’s were very good. Ask for any pizza not out on the buffet, and they make it and bring it to your table. Wonderful bread sticks and cactus dessert pizza. The fried chicken was fantastic with real mashed tato’s and gravy. Not a huge selection but everything was done very well. Great service! Great value!
