If AAA is sending Antelope Valley towing, YOU are out in the middle of nowhere, my friend. Hopefully, you sprang for the more than the 7-mile tow service. Because if you didn’t you will be paying for at least part of the tow. We called AAA for a tow and they sent AV Towing to our rescue. AAA said there was an hour wait, but the driver was at our house in the middle of nowhere within 20 minutes. He was great. First thing he did was give us a jump to see if it really was the alternator. It was. He also explained the AAA7-mile limit on our service.(We had dropped the more premium service because we hadn’t used a tow in 10 years.) The AAA operator had said we’d have to pay up to $ 10/mile after 7 miles. AV only charged us $ 7/mile. We already knew there was a Honda service bulletin for the problem, so we opted for the 29-mile trip to the dealership in Palmdale. He was very gentle with the car. He asked twice whether we needed to take the booster seat out. Really professional. They have locations in Palmdale, Rosamond and Tehachapi. They take cards, cash or checks.

Called aaa to have some tow my boyfriends car. we had been racing at a track in Rosamond. We needed it towed to Dana point. Our guy told us since we both had aaa that would could just use 100 miles from one account and 100 miles from the other account and drive down to dana point. In the middle of the tow the tow truck took another call. Our car was on top of his bed. we were on a very tight schedule since we needed to have the car towed thru la and we wanted to miss traffic. I dont understand why they would take a call in the middle of our call. It is just very sketchy and shady. I called AAA to let them know what was going on and the dispatch guy had told them that we were trying to pull one over on aaa and that we wanted to use both accounts to move the car to dana point. then the aaa dispatch lectured me on ethics. It is really a not nice company. the tow guy was great but their company is all messed up.
