This is about as close to a supermarket as you’ll find in Amish Country. Step inside and you’ll feel like you’re back in the 1970s. And I mean that in a good way. The place doesn’t look like it’s changed a bit since then and everything is still rung up by hand. It’s charming. If you’re staying in the area, you’ll find all the supplies you could need here and since the clientele is mostly local(you’ll often see buggies hitched up outside), the prices are reasonable. But here’s the hidden gem: the in-store bakery. Just about everything is baked fresh in-house and the donuts in particular are among the best you’ll ever find.
