Eastbrook Family Health Center

This place has maybe 3 nice people on staff. I agree with the reviewer who said CRNP Rachel is nice along with maybe a nurse or two. Everyone in the front office has a terrible attitude and is unpleasant from the moment you walk in the door. Just awful. I already hate doc appointments, the experience at Eastbrook just makes it miserable.

High turnover rates. They are constantly switching doctors and nurses. Tried to like it but Dr. By was a good doctor who left. My friend had her father go, they didn’t catch his cancer and he died. The doctor who saw my friends father never apologized to her for anything. I would watch out.

My CRNP, Rachel, was very nice. She’s informative, understanding, and personable. A select few nurses are nice, others can be flat out rude. If your going to be apart of the Healthcare profession, at least be nice to your patients or no one will want to come back.
I went for my physical last Tuesday. I had to get lab work at LGH on Wednesday bc Eastbrook doesn’t provide blood work. The doctor said that it will be done in a day or two. I gave them a week to process my information and results. Called back on Monday and the nurse doesn’t know where my physical form is? Seriously?

I’m with Daniele L on this. We chose this practice for our new baby’s checkups because it’s close to where we live and we’re newer to the area so we don’t really have any doctors here yet. Our doctor was Rachel, and she was always very nice and pleasant, but our overall impression of the practice was negative. Like Daniele said, the wait times were ridiculously long. We’d get there on time and it’d take 30 – 45 minutes before we were brought into the exam room. From that point it’d be another 15 – 30 minutes before we saw the doctor.
Also, they asked us the same questions (related to details of the baby’s delivery) EVERY time we were there. I don’t get it because the doctor was obviously recording notes in the computer system when I answered her questions, so why would they have to ask each time?
I always try to be on time for my appointments, but on our 3^rd or 4^th visit, we were running late and got there about 20 minutes late (sorry, it happens once in a while when you work full-​time and have an infant!). I didn’t think to call since the wait times are always so long anyway, but when we got there they informed us that they couldn’t see us because we were past the 15 minute late window, and it’s their policy that they can’t see anyone after 15 minutes– they had marked us as a no-​show. I told them that I hadn’t been informed of that policy and so the receptionist pulled out their office policy sheet that I would’ve signed upon my first visit and handed it to me as she proceeded to reschedule me. I read through the sheet, front & back, and didn’t see anything about a 15-​minute policy. So I asked her to point it out to me, and as she tried to she couldn’t find it– because it wasn’t there! Her response: «oh it doesn’t say it here, but it’s our policy anyway.»
I asked if there was anything we could do since it was our first time being late and there’s always such a long wait time anyway, etc… nothing. So we chose not to reschedule and have decided to go to Roseville Pediatrics where many of my coworkers bring their kids and they all love it there. I’m thinking that they have got to be at least a little better when it comes to keeping schedules! It’s frustrating to deal with doctors offices who have no respect for their patients’ schedules but expect patients to spend 2+ hours at their office for a routine checkup! Sorry, that’s just very difficult to do with an infant with work and feeding schedules.
If you’re relatively busy and need to keep some sort of reliable schedule, don’t even bother coming here.
