Nice place. The setting could use a little work. Looks a little dreary when you first walk in. There was a leak in the dining area. Food was a little over cooked and chewy. But the flavors are there for the most part. The hot dog menu is awesome. Prices are good.

I do some work for the owner of the building here so whenever I’m around I get lunch here or dinner to go. The portions are large & the foods always good. I highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella& avocado, its on a pannini style bread & has plenty of marinated chicken on it. They definitely don’t skimp on the sides either. The owners are both really nice guys and always a pleasure to deal with. I will be back for more next time I’m in the area.

Had the mixto hod dog and a negra modelo. The hotdog was fantastic. Huge and covered in motzarella cheese. Props to the owner to giving someone in need some money when they came in.

There was some sort of gel on the top of our sodas. The chicken had no flavor. I got the pechuga de pollo. Terrible. Chicken tacos were pretty bad. Edible, but Taco Bell is better and I don’t eat Taco Bell. Save your money. And don’t get poisoned.

Awesome delivery and takeout. Hotdogs are the tits. Never dined in, but one of my favorite go-to’s for a home-​meal that I don’t have to make.
Delivery service is super prompt, friendly, and they even have means to do credit card swipe on the delivery. It’s like it’s 2015, in 2015! Amazing. Not sure why more local places don’t offer this, but I definitely appreciate it from these guys.

Love this place! Great food, with just about everything under the sun (from burritos to grilled fish to arepas to colombian hot dogs that are to die for). Also, their delivery is always fast and efficient and can all be submitted via Unilocal with really easy add ons and customization (adding jalapeños, extra cheese etc at just an additional click). Serving sizes are very large and satisfying and definitely a good value.

Ordered from here via GrubHub for the first time today. I definitely will not order from here again. Ordered a beverage which was not delivered, ordered Quesadillas expecting a mix of cheeses however they came with only mozzarella cheese (which due to allergies i can not have much of) the cheese had melted all over the place, the fries were burnt, the rice and beans came separate and the rice had peppers in it plus the styraform was broken and melted to another container… so i didn’t eat any of my order so that was a waste of food and money. My roommates order had some minor glitches as well but they were able to eat theirs. However I will not order from here again.

I decided yesterday that if I had one more burger or slice of pizza for dinner, my head was going to explode. So I tried La Fonda Latino Grill in search of something new and exciting… Boy was I impressed! The chicken was amazing in both my dish and my roommate’s. The seasonings/​sauces had such a unique flavor to them. I meant to save half for lunch but I could not get myself to stop eating this delicious dinner! Huge fan of the take out now, looking forward to dining in and trying the famous hot dogs that I hear will change your life! 5 stars!

Our group is always on the lookout for new places for lunch. Tired of the same old sandwich shop fare in the Bohemia area, off we went on a tip received. We were not disappointed by the La Fonda food.
The menu had some nice Colombian dishes and unique spins on the traditional hot dog. We opted for the Colombian food this time.
The restaurant has both walk up counter and table service. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent choice of sodas or beer.
I had the chicken plate lunch special and enjoyed it immensely. One of my group had the fried Tilapia and really like it a lot. The third amigo had arroz con pollo and did leave a speck of rice behind.
Will definitely be back for más.

The food was delish… I recommend the Hawaiian hot dog and the chorizo was on point. The place is cozy, prices are reasonable but they need more help. I waited a while for my food, and I waited even longer for the check, but overall a good experience. I will mos def go back.

Their food is pretty good, but they need to up their service and blast the ac. I recommend ordering ahead, my coworkers and I came in, and we wasted our break just waiting on our food. Has a lot of potential, just accommodate more and please do not pretend like your customers do not exist!

owner does not know about the deal nor that they are in Unilocal.food was ok not great… not a good experience though, because have to explain to them bout the Unilocal deal i bought $ 40 for $ 50.which i was only able to used after about 30mins of confirming that its real.
