After reading the reviews, hopefully they have made improvements. For my visit, I was greeted and sat promptly. The waitress was extremely nice and professional. My food came out as ordered and tasted great. Hope they keep up the good work

Stopped on way to drop off my son at DTW. One waitress. One cook. One star. Very long wait. Displeased.

Love the food and atmosphere. My husband came here by himself and had only good things to say about it. So I had to try it for myself. Came with my family for brunch. Kid friendly with a nice selection for picky eaters. I like pictures on the menu. Truly what you see is what you get. We were quickly to be seated, ordered, and served. Nice people.

Food was good but we were seated and then it was like they forgot we were there even tho the waiter waited on the booth next to us. The guy across from us had his order taken and brought to him before us. We waited an extremely long time before they brought us something to drink. The gal apologized for the wait said they were really busy. I looked around and there were lots of empty tables so I was confused as to why they were«so busy».

Although i ordered take out, the experience I had said alot about what would an in house dinning be like… I ordered a take out to be picked up by 4pm. When I got there, I still need to wait 5−10mins till I get my order. When I first got it, I thought it was a mini early dinner set since it’s inside a regular carry on bag. And the really reason, was that they forgot my main course, Black Angus Pork Steak. I called and they said it didn’t show the pork steak on their part of receipt. So I went back with my receipt and they gave me my pork steak back, 5mins later, in a nice way. So back to the food review, the biscuits went great with the tomato basil soup. The soup was very rich in texture but a bit salty for me. I love the cole slaw, it’s definitely something different than what I usually have, seems like it’s the extra green spring onions they added. The pork steak looks a bit too brown and I thought it would be dry n over cooked but I was wrong. The pork steak was done right, fully cooked but not over cooked and juicy on the inside. Although the mushrooms are overcooked for me, they absorbed all the onion and pork steak sauce. So overall experience was not bad.

Food: I came here to eat a simple dinner before running a marathon the next day. I ordered a Smokehouse Burger with green beans and a baked potato. I had an iced tea to go with the meal. The burger was pretty good and so was everything else. The green beans tasted good with the added ham. Service: I was promptly seated when I came here for dinner. Service was nice and courteous, however was a bit slow. I didn’t mind since I wasn’t in a hurry anywhere. My waiter did eventually stop by and refilled my iced tea several times. He even offered another refill in a to-go cup as I was ready to check out.

Horrible service! I had my order taken and I was seated and never seen my waitress again till I go to the counter 25 minutes later. They just stuffed my food in box with no apologies. Never again!

Service stinks and they are not busy. Waited 15+ minutes to get seated and we were the only ones waiting. They kept saying be with you in a minute, then apologizing for being short handed. Hostess/Cashier was frazzled. and did not know what to do first — seat us, take out orders or keep checking people out. She kept checking people out.

Terrible service… oh wait, no service! We were invisible. Waited 10m no acknowledgement of our presence. Other people sitting around also waiting for service. Noticed kitchen staff bringing out orders. that’s trouble right there; ended up leaving, going to McDonalds instead. If you have time to burn go here… if there was a 0 star option I would have chose that. Avoid this place.

absolutely horrible!!! I’ve eaten bob Evans before and its nothing special but at this location the seats had an overwhelming smell of bleach or ammonia. I had French toast one side was burnt the other side looked raw. after finishing we were driving down the highway when the food poisoning set in and I had to puke out of a moving car.(quite a site for those behind me I’m sure) but yeah beyond that the service sucked food took forever(despite being the only people in the store) and I’m still not sure if I was poisoned by raw eggs or cleaning products. … shut this store down!

This Bob Evans was fine. The food is consistent with all other Bob Evans. The service was lacking. I wanted hot sauce and a refill on my beverage but the server didn’t come back until I was finished eating. I asked for a refill but she never brought it. Only when I had just paid did she offer me a «to go» cup but I was going to the airport and couldn’t take it in with me.

Not bad not bad. If you’re hanging around the airport or the Howard Johnson next door, then this is a decent little option for you. The food is pretty good and there’s good selection. Gotta love breakfast anytime! I had the chicken pot pie and it did the job.

Let me start by saying I am a Mgr for a mid size family restaurant. We arrived at 8:20 pm. It was packed. About 5 minutes in, the Busperson, Brandon, greeted us. We expected a wait– no problem 25 minutes. Brandon brought us to a booth in the back… several tables/booths were dirty.(Should have a Hostess or Mgr at door so Busperson can do his job). After 5 – 6 minutes we asked Brandon if someone could please acknowledge us so we could have our drinks. He kindly took our drink order. A Server came over and said«Hi, I’m not your Server but I’ll get your drinks.» Why wouldn’t you have simply brought drinks with you and let us know our Server was coming. Another couple minutes and our actual Server brought all but one drink. After a total of 15 minutes I went up to counter and said, «It has been 15 minutes may I please have hot tea?». We then placed our order right away. Two breakfasts and turkey dinner. Our Server had two tables of which customers were eating. Our Server never returned to check on us or see if refills were needed. Two tables in our area, each having different Servers received their food after being sat after us. After 40 minutes of sitting and receiving poor service… we left. Thank you Brandon for being polite and attentive.

Every visit here has been kind of a disaster. They have a friendly but rather inefficient staff. Our recent visit had both orders totally messed up. My husband got the wrong type of steak(again), they forgot one of my side dishes, both our other sides had missing or wrong items on them. When my forgotten side was brought mid meal it had the wrong gravy on it. My husband’s correct type of steak was then brought out, grossly undercooked(he asked for medium and it was under rare), I then waited until the very end of the meal to get the correct mashed potato side with chicken gravy, a not so fun *dessert*. I am kind of funny. I like to eat my meals all at once. The food here is reasonably tasty but I swear every.single.Bob.Evans we attempt to dine at in the greater metro Detroit area Fs up our orders consistently. Breakfast or dinner orders, always at least two things wrong. Trust me, we are fairly basic people, serving us at a casual dining restaurant is hardly brain surgery. If not for extremely frequent buy one get one free coupons we would probably never dine at any Bob Evans. Its reasonably tasty and we do love a bargain but it has become mostly not worth the hassle.

I love bob Evan. I always eat crispy garlic bread when I go there. So as usual I ordered the same but it was way soft. It looked like they just cut the bread and poured garlic butter on it. It wasn’t hot either.

While IHOP is pancake specialist, Bob Evan’s takes more of a fresh from the Ohio farm approach. Bob Evans’ menu emphasizes breakfast meat, fresh buttermilk biscuits and egg breakfasts. Promotions included an all you can eat pancake breakfast($ 4.99 and up), $ 6 weekday breakfasts, $ 5 soups, and $ 5 salads. They also have burgers, sandwiches, etc. It’s a friendly, warm place with soft elevator music playing and a bright, contemporary look reminiscent of Panera Bread. They have various freshly baked cookies, muffins, and desserts at the register along with mixes, candy, syrup, etc. * Biscuit bowl($ 6): The base was a giant rounded buttermilk biscuit(looked like a pizza crust bowl). It was topped with cheddar cheese, fresh spinach, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, chopped bacon, scallions and cheddar cheese. The eggs were tender. The bacon wasn’t crispy and the abundance of bacon made the dish too salty. The worst part was the biscuit bowl. It wasn’t fluffy but was unpleasantly dense and very dry. Curbside pickup and free wi-fi(ask for the password) are offered.

You know what I love Bob Evans? Their biscuits drizzled with honey. Scrumptious and finger licking good. We don’t have a Bob Evans in Phoenix since they are predominantly located in the Midwest and Eastern states, so having one near my hotel in Romulus was a treat. Breakfast items here are cheap and I usually order just a typical breakfast which consist of eggs and hash. Another thing I love about Bob Evans is they have free refills on hot chocolate. They also have complimentary wi-fi internet connection. The honey biscuits that came with my breakfast was fabulous. I’m going to have to work out twice as hard in the gym now that I had two! Oink! Service is always pretty good here and my waitress made sure I was satisfied with my order.
