Giving 3 stars because my hubby liked his General Tso’s Chicken. I however didn’t care for my Cashew Chicken at all. It only had 4 or 5 cashews and was more of a chicken stir fry… no Asian veggies just lots of carrots. Big let down.

Ordered the happy family, house special lo mein and two wonton soups… terrible!!! No flavor what so ever. Even called and asked if they had hired different cooks recently. Hate to spend 40 bucks on a crappy dinner. Maybe Almont’s Chinese food has spoiled me but this was dog food.

Just got this tonight for dinner. My girlfriend got the«dinner for two» takeout and brought it home. When I saw that it was going to be $ 17 I thought maybe that was a little steep for Chinese takeout — it ended up being two HUGE meals for two. Plenty of food and it was good food too. I usually don’t like egg rolls but I liked these. I highly recommend it.

The family just loves this place. The specialize in take out. Prices are good and you won’t be disappointed by the food either. Highly recommended.

I’ve been getting takeout from China Kingdom for over 15 years. I’ve always liked their food. It’s very reasonably priced, you get a ton of it, with more than enough for leftovers. I was a little worried when a friend of mine was over and we decided to get CK, I told him it was good, and he was hopeful… You see… I usually get your dirty chinese food… like Sweet and Sour Chicken, eggrolls… you know… hangover stuff… My friend was hoping for real seafood, not immitation, and goodness… and he liked it… a lot! Yay…win win! There is little else to choose from, in terms of Chinese food, while in Romeo, so we are lucky to have China Kingdom at our beck and call!

You can eat here but it is mostly for take out. I’ll spend 25 to 30 dollars for dinner for 2. And have leftovers for 2 more meals. My wife and I have been eating here for about 7 years now and have never had a bad experience.

Fellow Unilocalers, you let me down. I was REALLY hoping this place would be good since my new job is in Romeo. I ordered the hunan beef. If I had to describe this dish in one word, it would be BLAND. Have you ever washed dishes in a sink that didn’t have a garbage disposal? You know how you get that buildup of soggy brown food in the strainer? I felt like they just heated up some of that foodslop and fed it to me. Normally I would give a place a second chance, but it just seems too risky with this place. Zero out of five stars. Would not recommend.

If the food is as good as the egg rolls I have to give it 5 stars! Flaky crust, not greasy, and hearty home cooked feel to them… Yummy! Unilocalers make sure you order the egg rolls!

Very good chinese food. The egg rolls are made with cabbage, delish! I finally found a good chinese resturant in my area… Wahoo!!! The food is fresh and the place is clean. what else can you ask for in a chinese food resturant???

Very good Chinese food for a reasonable price. Bonus — the containers make great leftover storage. Essentially a walk-up, take-out business — only about 4 tables inside for seating. Relies on using number system for ordering — important if you are speaking to the owners rather than their kids who work the counter. Uses your phone number as a method to identify call-in orders.

Excellent food! Made by real Chinese, not high school kids! Again, great food!

I am pretty sure this is the only Chinese restaurant in Romeo. For years we had Two Dragons which I am pretty sure has been closed for a long time. The food at this place is pretty good — not too salty like most Chinese takeout. Portion sizes were enormous. Egg rolls are cabbage-filled and had something really tasty about them that I couldn’t place(but oh, bean-sprout filled egg rolls of my youth, where have you gone?) Service was very fast. We ate in this time and the down side of eating in is that it was really hot in there(no A/C) and they serve you in takeout containers with plastic silverware. In fact I think some or all of our order may have been reheated in those plastic containers which is a little weird. Then again, we didn’t have to ask for takeout containers to take home our mountains of leftovers, and they were nice sturdy plastic bowls with lids that you could probably re-use if you were the re-using type. The food was good. My husband said the hot and sour soup was about the best he’s tasted, and that’s from a large sampling of hot and sour soups over the years. This was our second experience here — last summer we got takeout and that was good too.
