Wonderful customer service. Larry one of the owners could probably star in his own comedic stand up. Nonetheless, everything we ate was absolutely delicious! Me and my friend both order the pulled pork sandwich combo. One thing that makes barbecue great is a great sauce and this place has it! I had banana pudding for desert and that was great too.

I will be back! Good basic pulled pork barbecue. The tornado potato was a different and tasty approach to French fries. My wife had the stew and said it was excellent. Friendly folks who seemed genuinely glad to see people coming in. NOT having a TV blaring in the corner was a real plus.

I ate at this place today. Drove all the way from Kennesaw to Rome and was not disappointed. The food was amazing! The ribs were the best I have ever had. They were indeed «fall off the bone ribs»!!! The bake beans and mac&cheese were delicious as well. I had the homemade banana pudding for dessert and couldn’t get enough of the sweet tea! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back soon!!!

My husband and I were passing through Rome and wanted to try someplace new, found this restaurant on Unilocal with only two total reviews (both were good) and decided to check it out.
Bones & Gristles is a cute little BBQ joint serving up REAL good fare! We tried the pulled pork, ribs, ‘tornado’ potatoes, macaroni and cheese, beans and Brunswick stew. My favorite was the macaroni, my husband’s the Brunswick stew but I promise… it was tough to pick a favorite.
Great food, great prices and the FRIENDLIEST people we have visited so far this week during our travels. Ms. Elaine at the front counter told us they have only been open two weeks, but with her charm and the chef’s talents I’m sure they will be cooking for a line of people out their door very soon!

Awesome BBQ place everything I have are from them has been awesome and will melt in your mouth. The sauce is the perfect add sometimes I like to eat the bbq without the sauce its that good
