Subway

As soon as I ventured in to this Subway, which is located inside of walmart, I wanted to turn around and leave. Which I would have done if I wasn’t desperate for some food. I ordered my typical 6″ sweet onion teriyaki on Italian herbs and cheese. Things were alright until we got to the veggies. The lettuce was brown and the woman making my sandwich was sort of playing with it and then grabbed another tub from the refrigerator and poured some better looking lettuce from the new tub, into the old tub. Then it was the green peppers. I noticed a little too late that they weren’t actually green. After placing the brown, green peppers (see picture) on my sandwich she began to play with the remaining brown ones in the tub. After I paid for my sandwich I reluctantly went to sit down and eat it. The majority of the tables were full of the walmart employees, I felt almost as if I was in the break room. It didn’t take long before I was swarmed by fruit flies while trying to remove the rotten vegetables. This was a pretty awful experience and I will NOT be returning.
