This beautiful little gem of a bakery made the most beautiful and yummiest fondant cake I’ve ever had! Super moist and not too sweet. Just perfect. It was a chocolate cake shaped as a stack of books of my daughters favorite reads! Cake was stuffed with freshly cut strawberries and chocolate mousse!!! Everyone in my family loved it! Made my daughters day! she was so happy! I recently went back for their pastries! Try the chocolate muffins and the chorizo crossiant! OMG!!! amazing! If your looking for any type of cake, this is the perfect bakery for cake!!!

So so LOVE this place. I live in Rolling Meadows and had not ever gone here until some wonderful friends from our church bought bags of the absolutely delicious pan dulce. I’ve been addicted ever since. Always a great selection, with such very nice and helpful ladies there.

An authentic stop for Mexican pastries and a modest selection. It’s not quite what I’m used to growing up in the city but I like this place. I came here because I heard about their«tres leches» cake. Traditional kind of cake and it was good. Not a favorite but it was good. Most are very sweet and it was nice not to be overwhelmed by sweetness! I know, too much sweets! What’s wrong with me! They have a nice variety of flavors as you can get fillings like mocha, coconut, pineapple, etc. A half tray(serves about 25 – 30) costs about $ 65 which for this type of cake is a bit high. Their sweet bread or pan dulce is very authentic and excellent quality. Well worth the pricier costs. You always want to try a concha when you visit a Mexican bakery, theirs is awesome. For now I’ve got to stick with a 3 but if your in the area it’s worth a shot.

I really want to give them 5 because of the awesomeness of the baked goods here. Everything is great! The prices are low and the customer service is top notch. Nothing seems to be wrong here… except when you make a twenty minute drive to get this stuff and they’re out of your favorite orange muffin(huge and baked better than anything I’ve ever found in the near thirty years I spent growing up on the north, west and south side of Chicago). This happens to me about fifty percent of the time, regardless of the time of day. Good problem to have I guess because they can’t keep up with demand because it’s great stuff. Conchas and cookies are also among the best I’ve ever tasted.

A nice little panaderia with the low prices typical of a Mexican bakery. This one is worthy of note because the churros tasted pretty fresh –not right-out-of-the-fryer fresh, but very good regardless; not chewy/stale, which is sadly rare at panaderias. Also, they still had jalapeño bolillos even at 2pm on a Sunday — hurray!
