Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Best first massage experience that I could’ve gotten. They are very welcoming and had a great therapist. The atmosphere was relaxing and the price is worth it.

I enjoyed a wonderful massage and facial. I just moved here and this will definitely be my spa of choice. Also discovered that they perform microdermabrasion and skin peels at this spa, which was a wonderful surprise. The masseuse, Erin, used GREAT pressure and asked me a few times during the service how the pressure felt and did I need any adjustments. She didn’t talk much, and let me really just relax, and focus on my breathing, which was great.
My esthetician was also fantastic, and I HIGHLY recommend her!.. Shara is very polite and kind, professional and knowledgeable. She knew how to give constructive feedback about my skin, and provide me with tips and guidance towards improving my skin condition. She recommended products from their Dermalogica brand, but I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. I actually know the Dermalogica line, and have been using it for years, so I already know the high quality and value of the products. I did not hesitate to buy some moisturizer, which has 50 SPF (hard to find). Shara genuinely cares about her clients, and spent extra time to ensure that my service was great.
The front desk service was wonderful and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. They have complimentary tea and water, and a nice seating area. Before leaving, I booked my next services. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a facial here as a first time customer, and I was grateful for the care that the esthetician took in removing blackheads and hydrating my skin. They work with my favorite line, Dermalogica, and they will fill out a form giving you advice on which products will work best for your particular needs. Take care that you can make your appointment time — they will charge you if you do not cancel more than 24 hours in advance. Also, you will be encouraged to buy products and to sign up for a monthly membership. This is not something I could afford financially, and I had to repeat that several times. Otherwise, I found this experience to be relaxing and worthwhile.

I was very tired from work and other activites, and had a very stiff back when I walked in here. And I had asked for deep tisse massage. The stiff back and knots were not easy to fix and won’t go away in one session but I definitely felt much better after the massage. My therapist, Erin, did a terrific job on understanding my requirements and identifying my problem areas.
What more can I say, My husband and I went together and it was our first time, about 20 days now. And we became members and I will be scheduling my next massage in the next few days.

Enjoyed our massages. The service is excellent! The only downside for me was when they pitched the monthly pass. I appreciate the sales pitch however if I say I’m not interested, they should understand instead of repeating the offer!!! Massage was perfect! A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

I am a member of their spa and I do not regret it at all. This is a great business and especially because of Paul at the front reception because he is outstanding! Always courteous and sincere, and makes me feel welcomed every time I come in. I only go in for facials so I can only attest to those, all the estheticians are great and I switch it up between them depending on my mood. I love Alberta for the work she does in regards to extractions and really cleaning my skin out. And I love Kasia for her gentle touch and relaxing facials she provides, both are great in their own way. I only knock it down a star because last time I was in the front desk was a little more scatter brains and could have used a little more professionalism in my taste, but that’s because Paul is my favorite!

Well that should tell you how much the package was explained to me… It took you forever to respond to my review so that proves how poorly is this place managed. As I mentioned in my first review I called the spa TWICE as I forgot to ask the receptionist one more thing and you state that I was continuously calling interesting. Please don’t change the story and act like by calling I was the «bad guy», and please don’t make me look like some sort of low life person because I feel offended. If people are only allowed to call you to make an appointment then I wish you luck as your job is to help customers and answer any questions they may have. It’s so not cool to say that you offered me to extend the expiration because you never did. Well just to let you know I’m back and just had a facial at the Kildeer location yesterday and wow what a difference .You’re much closer to me but as I stated before I’m NEVER coming back because I never ever was treated in such unprofessional way before.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars but it won’t let me. Walked in for my appointment, no one was there. I waited for about 5 mins and still no one showed up. Almost walked out, but had a gift card and they refused to refund me. Massage was good but not good enough for my whole experience. It wasn’t until later that I realized my skin broke out into big patches of irritation and it still has not gone away. Stay away from this place.

Are you stressed? Do you feel tense and have tight muscles? Then you need to make an appointment at hand and Stone. I just had a massage and it was great. All the stress I was feeling was gone. The facilities are very clean, the staff is courteous, friendly, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend Hand and Stone.
While there, schedule a facial. It’s great for the skin and is very relaxing. I’m looking to my next facial.

I’m beginning to think that some businesses think consumers either don’t have choices or we are paying with play money that we don’t work for. I have nothing bad to say about the employees of this establishment but this place could have the worst ownership in the service industry. After waiting for 30 mins, the owner (over the phone) suggested that having a male masseur should be tried by anyone who hasn’t had one… despite having made an appointment for a female masseur. He tells me: «I know we didn’t have girls in the locker room so it should be ok to have a male… I’ve had Robert massage me, he is great». Really??? Would he have told a female customer who she should be willing massaged by… doubt it. Although he inconveniently said I could come back at 6 PM if I wanted to. So much for my annual massage.
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Unless you like to be told what your preferences are.

Out of all 5 massages I’ve had in my life this surpassed all of them. Go check them out, ask for Robert! Very respectful, caters to your individual needs and knows his stuff.

This spa is really a gem. Outstanding massages in a peaceful setting too. Everyone is very professional from the front desk to the massage therapists. I highly recommend Vania! She gave me a fabulous massage and paid extra attention to back issues I was having. Hand and Stone is definitely a place I will go back to!

After several bad experiences with both Massage Envy and Heavenly Massage (where I had a membership), I decided to try out Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa to see if they were different. Much to my surprise, they WERE different! I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted joyfully at the door by not one, but two receptionists who called me by name and explained the intake process concisely and with great welcome. I was told that my comfort level was the most important part of the experience and that all elements, including temperature, lighting, and height of the table was adjustable to my needs and was encouraged to speak up if anything was not to my liking. Upon my intake my massage therapist, Erin took me back to a clean, relaxing, fresh smelling room. I decided to add aroma therapy to my treatment that day to enhance the relaxation factor. I couldn’t speak more highly of my treatment. Not only did my therapist get it right, so did the facility. I am grateful to finally find a place I can come to again and again so as to enjoy the long term benefits of regular massages. I am now a member and can’t wait to come back next month.

Me and my Wife came here originally a month ago as 1^st timers (now members). These guys know their stuff. We’ve had couples full body massages, and both visits so far have been exceptional! Try the aromatherapy! I love both the eucalyptus and lavender aroma. Try the hot stones as well. You will not be dissapointed.
The ambience is on point. Very relaxing. Customer service is impeccable (contrary to what some of the comments here have stated).
I definitely recommend getting the membership (you get some freebies, and a lower price than you would normally pay if you’d go visit without one.

My wife and I went for a couples massage to this place and it was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and elegant. Also, my wife and I had different massage therapists and both of them were really good and used just the right amount of pressure. We are definitely coming back.

Five star service for Dawn the massage therapist! I go for therapeutic help and it works she is awesome! I highly recommend her and the hot stones to work out a sore tense back and body.

First time ever coming here! What a disappointment! The lotion they use is so greasy and oily it’s beyond disgusting. The girl who massaged me spend like 10 seconds massaging my feet and immediately put hand sanitizer on her hands. Who does that?!? I paid an additional 15 for a foot scrub, the masseuse scrubbed the top of my feet and she was done. lol complained to the staff, the manager hid until I was gone. I watched him come
Out after I left. The staff could not have have less about my complaints. Go to massage envy. It may be more expensive but the service is better. The manager has the nerve to call me 10 minutes after I leave, tells me to come back and he will give me another introductory price massage. 64.00 for horrible service and come back and spend another 50.00. Talk about bad customer service?! Then when I tell him «are you kidding me? Charge me another 50» he goes «what do you want? Free?» I would rather pay a bum to massage me than ever step foot back into this place. Manager is horrible and so is the staff. This place sucks!

Great facials and massages! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great services and affordable prices. The monthly membership is very good.
