So I take my son in to get creatine. The small can was $ 45 dollars plus tax. I had 50 dollars in cash in my pocket and I had left my wallet at at home due to I was simply driving my son to football practice. The total came to $ 50.01. I gave the clerk 50 in cash and emptied my short pockets in front of clerk to indicate that was all I had. The genius clerk just gave me a blank stare and waited for his penny. I finally sent my son to the car to find one. My son said to me, «dad, I never want to come here again, that was ridiculous». Nuff said

It’s a chain store, so the employees will make or break it. One employee came very close to breaking it for me. Recently. I walk in, and the guy walks out of the back with another employee. He asks«Can I help you find anything?» «Nah man, I’m good.» I reply. What comes out of him at this point is this indignant scoff like he was offended I didn’t need his help. So he goes and sits at the cash register, and after about 5 minutes I hear him start impatiently sighing, as if I’m taking too long to make a selection A few minutes later, he mutters under his breath«oh my God, you’ve got to be kidding me». Apparently he recognized the kid who was walking to the door who came to return supplements he’d purchased the day before. At this point I’d decided on my selection, and made my way to the checkout counter, carrying $ 80 worth of supplements. Cap’n Cranky went into the back area and left another employee there to ring me up, which was fine by me. I didn’t feel like dealing with his punk ass. I haven’t decided if I’m going back at this point. I don’t handle people with attitudes very well.

I walk in searching for zma and the employee boldly told me he had no idea what that was and recommended a product that was not even similar at all. Way to be worthless

Never been a fan of any GNC. Prices are too high, employees have no idea what they’re talking about and lie to sell products, and they’re never stocked. I will stop in on occasion between meals to get a protein bar, because on this front they’re priced accurately. BUT I went to grab a protein bar at this location the other day and the employee looked at me like I was stupid or something when I went to pay with a card and said«Umm you don’t have cash?» I didn’t… «We only take card if it’s $ 5 or more.» I’ve only had this happen to me at run down gas stations in the country. but a large chain? And absolutely no for warning like a sign or anything. I wish Vitamin Shoppe would move in here instead!

Awful store. Every time I go in there the frat boys working there never crack a smile or seem eager to answer questions or help. Last time I went in there I was returning something and when I told the clerk I needed to return something I bought he looked at me and said«OK?». Pretty consistently terrible.

The only reason I ever go into this store, is because it is close and I’m usually wanting something right then. But, alas. the five times I have gone there, they never have what I want — it is usually«yes, we carry it, but we are out of stock» or «never heard of it». I made my last trip yesterday… from now on, I will just plan to go to the vitamin shop in Santa Rosa
