Really liked walking around here. Simple hike, nothing too strenuous. Can see a lot of the river as you’re walking around. Next to the golf course. We went when there was a flood warning so the water was a bit higher than normal, which was cool since we saw a pelican fishing for dinner.

This local trail is not too far out of town and one that my husband and I walk often when the weather is just so. Its a nice trail thats easy to moderate, its about 1 ½ miles in length, a large loop. Very enjoyable when the leaves are turning in the Fall or when hundreds of dogwoods are blooming in the Spring. One the whole family can enjoy, only steep in a few places. I’ll post some pics of the bluffs, etc
