Rogers Catfish House

Tried the new place for lunch. Not the best location through we need more places to eat on the southeast side of town.
They really did a lot of work inside with the décor-​wood floors, nice «country» tables and chairs, many with lazy Susan’s. It’s a huge place so great for groups especially family meals for «all you can eat». I also love that they are playing old classic country music. The wait staff wears overalls which is cute. I like the mason jars with a handle.
Ok, on to the food.
Catfish-​for me, too bland and a little too fishy flav. Needed salt, needed something.
Hush puppies-​ok, visible green onion and taste. My table really liked them, I was indifferent.
Fries-​decent fries, golden skin on fries
Coleslaw-​sweet and southern-​mayo based, good stuff
Pickle relish really good
Service was fast and friendly. Though not very busy on our visit.
They do offer a variety of other items-​burgers, chicken sandwiches, BBQ sandwiches, Reuben’s, etc. They have a few appetizers. Beer and wine to come later this month.
I have a high catfish standard and it just wasn’t my favorite. I would suggest a lunch special before you go all in on all you can eat.

Great place to bring family amazing food. Great atmosphere definitely recommend it. Good fresh food, a some service family friendly place. Great attitude and nice people to serve you.
