We just went for happy hour drinks and an appetizer. The Corona-Rita was excellent. That was the only really good thing about this visit. The queso was just o.k., as were the chips and salsa. Our server wasn’t very friendly or attentive. We waited quite a long time for everything. We’ll give it one more try and see if we have a better experience with a full meal and hopefully a different server.

It’s not a completely terrible of a place to go for mexican food. However I will say that it is on par with the likes of Taco Bell and Taco Bueno. For me this translates to «good cheap eats». On my visit here recently, we had a very steller service experience which really made the night enjoyable. I definitely reccomend giving this place a try as a nice alternative for variety when waning this type of cruisine.

This was the worst restaurant experience I have had in a long time. The hostess had the flu and was coughing and blowing her nose over and over again. It was disgusting. Especially when she offered to get us more chips. No thanks honey. The bar counter was sticky and I watched the bartender sweep everything off the counter on to the ice chest. And the open salsa container just sat there too. Not what I was expecting from a chain that is so popular and usually delicious. Very disappointed. Zero stars.

Pretty awful service. When I go to a restaurant that is almost completely empty I assume the service will be quick. After waiting 30 minutes for an appetizer the nachos were mediocre at best. Our waiter, David, should not be a waiter. He put dirty plates on my table as we where still eating and if anyone works in the restaurant business(or has any common sense at all) they know this is a big no no. Needless to say I left him a penny as tip and will not be returning.

Haven’t been to an OTB in many years, figured it would be a safe place to try as we were craving Mexican food. It was a Saturday evening, the place was busy but we were still able to be seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and told us about the special of the day. We had a couple drinks that came out in a reasonable amount of time. Our food took a while, but our waitress kept bringing out chips & salsa and checking on us to see if we needed more drinks or anything. Food was very good good, we both had the Ranchiladas(skirt steak with ranchero sauce, and a pair of cheese enchiladas). The skirt steak was good perfect, very tender and very flavorful! I’ve been to many places where it’s as tough as leather, but this was excellent! Definitely will be back. The place was clean and atmosphere was nice. Even when busy it wasn’t too loud and didn’t feel crowded. Food was good, Margaritas were yummy… What more can you ask for?

Well this was a mistake! Uggh… Normally stay away from chains but this place is convenient for going to just before movies. Seated promptly which is always nice. We were then ignored. One person finally got our drink order and stated that our server was tied up but will be with us shortly. Never happened, the person who took our original drink order came back and got our meal order. Long time wait for food, chips ran out… When the meal arrived it was hot. That’s the best description, Chimi was burnt and«Street Tacos» were dry and lacking any flavor. Our waitress saw that we were out of chips and low on drinks. Offered refills on everything. They didn’t arrive until we were done eating and ready for the check. This was early in a lunch service and the place was less than half full. No excuse! Avoid at all costs!

My significant partner lover of mine and I love this place. I know it’s a chain and it’s not cool to love a chain but the staff is very friendly and efficient. She is vegetarian and loves the grilled avocado enchiladas. The entire staff raves about this menu item as well. We go there about once a week or so and recently they removed this item from the menu. They still make it for us but as I read the reviews it seems everyone loves this item. So do the right thing OTB and bring it back!

We came in around 8pm on Friday night. The parking lot was packed but there was no waiting. The hostess asked if we wanted a booth in the dining area or if we wanted a 2-top booth in the bar. There was only one left so we took it. The bad thing about that seat, it was the closest to the kitchen door and it appeared to be a «hang out» for all of the employees to talk really loud and act like they’re 5 years old. Our waitress was very charming and had an odd accent. Honestly, I had a hard time understanding her at first(it could have been the noise coming from the other waitstaff that had nothing to do). I ordered the brisket tacos, which is my all-time favorite meal from this place, and asked to have them prepared with corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas. Not sure why they make them with flour tortillas anyway! The mango margarita was outstanding & so were the chips, salsa and queso! Great food, great service, but the atmosphere was a little loud and overwhelming.

This place is pretty decent if you want cheap and quick Mexican food. I also go because they have $ 3 margaitias during their 9−11pm happy hour which is amazing! Because I usually go for the 9−11pm happy hour I find that parking is pretty good since most of the dinner crowd has left. There is usually little wait and seated fairly quickly. The free chips and salsa are really nice, but they can probably do with less salt on the chips. The waiters are usually pretty attentive(especially if they know you buy drinks!). The food is usually good and portion sizes are big enough that I have left overs. They also have a pretty extensive vegetarian menu which helps. The last thing I got here was the fajitas and they were pretty good and they gave me several sauces/guac/salsa/sour cream along with the meal. This is no table mesa but it’s amazing if you just want to get drunk on a budget and have some Mexican food. In general, I like the place and will keep coming back. I probably frequent this place once a month.

Okay. Been to many On the Borders around the country and this location likes to add Zucchini to everything What is with the zucchini. Service is fair if they slow by you. Try other locations. Queso dip came in a cup not a bowl Tortilla soup was mostly water and zucchini. Wow. Enough said

Not bad but not great either. Salsa is just average Service is good. Ordered the brisket tacos but didn’t notice it came with BBQ sauce on them. They were good but I didn’t want BBQ or I’d went to a BBQ place. Waitress at the bar was friendly and kept my beer full. Overall a decent place to grab a cold beer and a taco

I tried there about a year ago and the service was terrible. Food was good for American style Mexican food. I recently ordered to go to pick up on my way home from work, and it was honestly the best to go pick up I have ever had. They greeted me, showed me the food was correct, offered me extra chips and a drink, extremely polite and the food was fresh. I will have to try again to see if the eat in has improved, but will order to go from there any day.

I was with a group and not only was my order not taken, but no one returned with other people’s drinks and side dishes. What I did see and taste looked like poor, re-heated Tex Mex. Won’t go again, wouldn’t recommend it.

While our server was good(only reason not giving 1 star) the food here was bad. Very greasy from start to finish. Thought I’d be safe with street style chicken tacos but was mistaken. Needless to say I’m home sick from my meal yesterday. I don’t deal well with overly greasy food… Won’t be going back again.

Been twice. Food was not good either time. The first time the waitress was horrible. Didn’t know the menu(what fish is on the fish taco) she didn’t know. I asked if it was good she said she didn’t like fish. My choice of sides I asked what she would suggest and she said she didn’t like either. Haha. Wow!

Went for lunch the other day. The app came on a dirty plate with a dirty spoon. Waitress apologized and removed them. Did not replaced them. While having the app noticed ants on the table. Waitress offered to move us but it was just three ants. Had the manager come over to discuss. She thanked us and sent over coupons which was good. The chips and apps we ordered were good. The meals themselves were not. The chile relleno and the chicken tacos were not good. The people were nice but employees need a lot of training. Good luck but we won’t be back.

Came here last week for lunch with my family and a family friend. I had been to this restaurant before, but in California a long time ago. It is a pretty decent Mexican chain restaurant. WAIT: We came for lunch and had no wait. It was on Black Friday around 12pm — maybe everyone was still shopping or sleeping from getting up so ridiculously early haha. CUSTOMERSERVICE: The hostess and our waitress were both friendly and helpful. DECOR: Typical chain Mexican restaurant look. FOOD: Well, first, the chips and salsa are addicting as usual. This is what our table ordered: *Grilled Avocado Enchiladas — I got this and it was very yummy *Fish Tacos *Kids Grilled Chicken and Veggies *Hatch Chile Burger Besides what I got — which I loved, everyone else liked their food as well. I would come back here. I haven’t been too impressed with Mexican food around here, so far, except for a few places. This is one of the places I would go back to.

Oh dear, i don’t think i have ever sat down with a group of 3 other guys and all of us feeling pissed off about our meal. Really nothing stands out about this place. Yes the service was good but it was so quiet there on a Sunday evening that we would expect nothing less. The menu reads great, and is lick your lips worthy BUT the food tasted nothing like mexican food i have tasted before. The re-fried beans was so tasteless that one bite was enough for all of us. I had the grilled avocado enchiladas and again jsut out of pure hunger i go through half it before i decided this would be a lost cause. I never can blame waitresses for the pure quality of food so when she came to collect the plates and asked us all akwardly«have you finished and how was the food» we remained polite and asked for the bill.

Nice happy hour prices! We went on a Friday and sat at the bar. Hostess and bartender were nice. Both food and drinks were out promptly. We ordered the house margaritas. I ordered one and my finances ordered two. Chips were MASSIVE, like tortilla size. Salsa was excellent! I had to try their tortilla soup(I have an obsession for some reason). Soup was better than Mojitos, but nothing to brag about. My fiancé had the fish tacos. You receive 3 tacos and he mentioned they were pretty tasty. On The Boarder is a Mexican Chili’s. Total bill for 3 drinks and two entrees was $ 30. Not too shabby!
