Kohl’s

I’ve decided I hate you. It’s not your products or your associates it you’re return policy and regulations that make it that I will never shop here again. I got a couple items for Christmas that were to small and wanted to exchange or return them but I didn’t have the receipt. So I can get a store credit for the lowest ticket or clearance price not the retail value or the price you still have them listed on the floor.
They told me I could run around the store and find items with the same suggested retail price but it had to be the EXACT same price. I couldn’t go over and pay the difference or even go under which is frustrating with two kids running around trying to look at tags and try to price match to exact numbers. Im good…

Respect for the customer! My cell phone was missing when I returned home after shopping at two department stores. The employee named Evan took my call for Kohl’s. He asked for a description, went and looked in the dressing room, took my name/​number. His communication and customer respect were 100%. The manager of the store also showed concern and demonstrated customer satisfaction 100%.
Positive attitude, respect for the customer, honesty = customer satisfaction. They earned my return for further shopping. Kohl’s also has an excellent return policy.

Kohl’s heavily promotes big discounts such as 30% on their Kohl’s card. They also promote Kohl’s Cash with purchases. I took advantage of this for Christmas shopping, spending around $ 400 on gifts. When my recipients exchanged gifted clothing for something they preferred, both the 30% and the Kohl’s Cash were forfeited, rendering the promotion meaningless. For example, two pair of $ 75 jeans cost me $ 105 plus I got Kohl’s cash for another $ 20 meaning $ 170 in retail value for $ 105. Sounds like a good sale, right? When exchanged, the $ 20 was canceled and $ 105 was credited to a gift card for my gift recipient, meaning, we really got $ 105 of retail value for $ 105. The reason I shopped here was the promotion, and this reason was completely removed by «Kohl’s Policy.» (When I inquired with Kohl’s, I was told, that my math was wrong, and Kohl’s Policy was quoted repeatedly, there was no concern about our loss in value. I corresponded with at least 4 different people at Kohl’s, they are well versed on how to tell you how you are wrong.)

Department store with loads of clothes. While lots of it is at full retail price, don’t be deceived. Look closely. I picked up several dress shirts at 40, 50 and even 60% off.
There are other non-​clothing departments, but I didn’t go in to those. Furniture, jewelry, housewares, fragrance and luggage. One would assume those items are also marked down.
