Fun atmosphere reminiscent of cafes found in quaint neighborhoods in San Francisco. Delicious soups, fresh salads and any kind of grilled cheese you can virtually dream up. Staff friendly. Nice bar to meet friends after work. As they say, «It’s All About the Cheese».

Don’t eat at all the chain restaurants near the freeway! This is worth the extra couple of minutes to drive up Walnut to get to downtown Rogers. Great gourmet grilled cheese and dogs. Nice bar with excellent selection of beers.

They consistently serve delicious food and the staff is super friendly. The Bacon Gouda fries and the Italian stallion are so good I have trouble choosing something new from the menu!

Went late night for a heart warming grilled cheese sandwich. They have a great list of local and lost of good craft beer. Our hostess knew what kind of beer to suggest for the mood. I had a pale ale and it was pretty giod I ordered a cali hotdog which was a chicken and spinach sausage topped off with sauce, pickled vegetable .I wish it was a bit more spicy and the sausage has more spices. Overall ok. My wife ordered a build your own grilled sandwich which she liked it as it was made the way it wanted to be. There are literally 100s of combination you can make with that. Will definitely come back to have my grilled cheese cravings.

This was a fun place, the bar is a nice place to hang out and my brother and family liked the beer selection. the artichoke appetizer was excellent and the soup was very good. I was not in love with my Monte Crisco(too sweet) but the others liked their sandwiches and the home made potato chips very much. Also good restrooms.

Wowsers! Start with friendly service and clean. Wide selection of local craft brew on tap and bottle. We tried the Gouda Bacon Fries for our appetizer and they were very tasty. The grilled cheese selection is vast and varied and oh so filling. We will be back and try everything on the menu! Very interested in their craft bitters, the cocktail menu also looks awesome. When in Rogers please venture downtown! Why eat at a chain restaurant?!

The food was fantastic, but the service was terrible. We waited to be seated for over 20 minutes, watching several other customers be seated first. The hostess kept looking at us but never said anything. When I asked her why another party was seated first she only said«Your name was crossed off.» No apology at all. We were finally seated in the hallway(?) by the drink station. When anyone walked by our table thumped loudly because of the poorly made wood floors. Another customer was complaining about a server stomping like Godzilla past their table, too. Being seated by the drink station we were treated to hearing all of the loud complaining a server was doing about her horrible customers. Again, the food was great, but I will never go back.

Another great addition to downtown Rogers! Came in with two friends, none of us knew anything about Hammontree’s so our judgement wasn’t influenced in any way. Started with the Sweet Potato fries with bacon, gouda and chives with an avocado dipping sauce. Yum! YUM! All three of us ordered something different: Shroom Dog… Scarlet Fever… and El Chupacabra. It took us forever trying to settle on one item because they all sounded great. There is something on the menu for everyone, including a build your own section if you just haven’t found that perfect combination. We tried each other’s sandwich and we agreed that all three were very good. How often does that happen? After we ate, we retired to the back of the restaurant to play pinball and shuffleboard. The owners have done a great job redecorating the building… right down to the giant pterodactyl flying above the front door! The servers were laid back but attentive… they made you feel welcome and took very good care of us. May take my husband back there tonight! wink-wink

One of my favorite places in NWA. Sandwiches are always perfect, service is always friendly, and the beer selection is top notch. Location is in historic downtown Rogers and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed!

Staff not very good, no ESPN on bar TV. Food and beer are great. MIGHT try back in a month. Not sure if they have WiFi.

Have eaten at Fayetteville location several times but really like the new Rogers location. Great service, very courteous staff. Take a look at the menu, solid local and craft beer selection. If you like hummus, try the edamame hummus dip. Different taste, served with warm pita chips, enough for two Have not had a bad meal at either location. Also a big fan of the Tomato and Basil Soup. Just a cup is a good sized serving

So happy they added this in Rogers. Food was amazing and servers were really friendly. Wonderful renovation inside as a nice place to dine or hang out and have a beer. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Heard good things about Hammontree’s in Fayetteville. Tried this one. Waited 45 minutes and never was served. Finally flagged someone down because I think I finally achieved invisibility. Told her I would have to take it to go if they had even started. Waited another 5 minutes and gave up. Food looked delicious. Think I will try the one in Fayetteville. Really bizarre experience, thought I was being punked!

We love this place! So many delicious grilled cheese options pairing unique and traditional cheeses with a variety of meats and veggies. You could also build you own! I’ve never had a bad sandwich here! My husband had the tomato basil soup and said it was amazing. But what I really want to brag about is the sweet potato fries! I love sweet potato fries and eat them often, but these were the best I think I’ve ever had! Must try! Lastly, the service was excellent! Very attentive, kind, and speedy. We will be back!

Best sweet potato fries around by far. The French Onion soup was tasty, although they combine the cheese on top of a slice of bread in the soup(which was difficult to cut into pieces) and didn’t have as much cheese as I would have liked. I also enjoyed the atmosphere. I was a little confused on why they decided to seat us at the bar when there were several open 2 top tables that I could see, but the bartenders were attentive and gave great recommendations and service.

Yummy! We were so looking forward to this location opening. French onion soup was great. Portion size was large for a cup. I had a delightful grilled cheese with artichoke and bacon on sour dough. Great sandwich. Service was good. This will be a regular lunch stop for us!

They have a great selection of grilled cheeses a witches that I didn’t know what to order! Yikes! They had a version of the monte cristo, a Brie/Apple/fig/caramel used onion sandwich called«bries company» and it was D-lecious! They have local craft beers which is always a plus. The service, well, maybe because she was the only waitress that evening, but it was kind of bad. Just because we were ignored most of the time but when she did pay attention to us the first time, she was nice. Would totally go back again. But would try to order something else. Had the Brie sandwich, the loaded potatoes and cup of tomato soup(yum btw) and I was super stuffed!

So happy that Hammontrees is now in downtown Rogers! They offer a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches and a variety of soups. Today I had a Cheebacca which was sharp white cheddar, house cheese, bacon, delicious pulled pork, grilled onions and garlic cilantro sauce on sourdough. It was DELISH! I tried the spinach gargonzola soup and it was good but extremely rich and strong and I could only eat a couple spoonfuls. No worries though because the sandwich was very filling along with the kettle chips. I failed to mention too that we started off with Gouda-Bacon fries which are sweet potato fries with melted cheese, bacon, green onions served with avocade ranch. YUM! My friend enjoyed the Pamageddon which was a parmigiano-reggiano, prosciutto ham, sauteed mushrooms and Ricotta on a parmesean crusted sourdough. She loved it. Another had the Honkey! A white cheddar, asiago, jack cheese with artichoke hearts and peppered bacon on sourdough with smoked mayo. And finally, the 4th at our table had the Ozark Monte Cristo-pit smoked ham, baby swiss and havarti grilled French Toast style on a thick cut jalapeño corn bread. All of them looked delicious and they all loved them. In fact, one has been there 3 times in the last week! We plan on going again in a couple days. I love the location. Lots of seating downstairs and they have a loft with more seating. An eccletic décor feel and super friendly staff. They have a full bar and offer a variety of specialty drinks. Rogers Downtown is coming alive! Great addition and I love that I work down the street and can get my grilled cheese on regularly. Check the photos for pics of todays lunch.
