Complete Towing

I was parked off Dickson in a pay parking spot (already bad enough right? should we really being paying these people to park? $ 2.00 an hour?). I notice the time and I head to the car. We are 8 minutes late, and we were already on his hitch and he was pulling away.
8 minutes! It had to have taken that much time to get us on the tow. So I am running to the car and I yell, «Hey you’re towing my car!» I said, «hey we’re only a few minutes late!» He said, «It wouldn’t matter if you were 30 seconds late.»
I then asked him what it would take to get the ‘damn’ thing off the tow, and he said «Don’t cuss me. This is my place of business. You need to respect me.» By this time, he’s just showing his power since he could obviously be a real jerk and impound us. It cost me $ 50 just to have him lower the tow for being 8 minutes late, or even less since he would have towed it at 1 minute.
What really erks me though is the fact that we got a boot a few weeks before, because the person did not see the ticket in our window. She came out to take the tow off because we still had 20 minutes left. So that cost us $ 20 just to have her take the boot off.
The whole thing is a scam. $ 50 to have me lower his tow is ridiculous and he was an ass.
