Always a favorite with our kids. I think they come for the free cookie in the kids menu.

This location is pretty good. I really like the layout and the atmosphere. I was disappointed with the potato soup bread bowl, so much so that I decided to register for Unilocal! It is acidic and the bread gets soggy quickly. I’ve been a bread bowl eater(exclusively) for years, but I might have to switch!

A great place to sit and relax with a coffee and pastry. Had a nice selection and everything I got at breakfast was really good.

In the past, I’ve liked this place more than Panera. However, at 8am this morning when I stopped in on my way to a meeting nearly all the bagels were gone. The metal bins they normally keep them in were nearly barren. Most, in fact, were gone. I waited for a few minutes as the one person working helped another customer and after glancing again and not finding much to choose from, I left and drove down the street to Panera. However, I gave this a 3-star rating because in the past I have had average sandwiches here. If you come here expecting a average lunch(that’s much better than Jimmy Johns and Subway) you’ll love it. Their soups and bakery is great, too, for chain style food. Hopefully, they’ll grow their customer service for the better, but as empty as this place was and as packed as Panera was I think I understand why staff has been scaled back.

Another deli/sandwich shop/bakery clone. Went in looking for something in the sweet case, walked out with blueberry muffin and banana nut muffin tops. Customer service was a little neglectful(I stood around in the bakery line waiting for somebody to notice until I had to walk up to dine in line to request service). There were 3 other guys running around in the front looking busy(but the dining room had maybe about 3 – 4 parties). Dunno that I like the 250-calorie blueberry muffin top – maybe just a bit too plain for the hit to my waistline.

The food was pretty good, personally I enjoy Panera more, but the service was very friendly. I liked my vegetable soup a lot; the sandwich I had was okay.

Great place to have breakfast or lunch, really nice staff, especially Lisa. She is really friendly and always with a smile. I enjoy their wild rice chicken soup and fruit plate

A poor imitation of Panera. Bread is below average. My sandwich was greasy and flavorless, and the salad was crunchless. We won’t go back.

It’s hard for me to believe I’m getting to post the first review of this ABC — it’s been here for years and years. Located right next to the Interstate and along Walnut Blvd, it’s easy to access and there is plenty of parking. Excellent sandwiches and soups, plus a terrific selection of baked goodies like cookies and muffins and whole loaves of bread, they also have made-to-order coffees plus six«unlimited refill» urns. I’ve sat in this ABC for a couple of hours, eating up the free wifi and drinking up the great coffee and never been hassled for taking up a table. The sandwiches change from season to season and they’re always adding something new and interesting to the menu. At the moment, they are displaying a «Wild Alaskan Salmon Sandwich» that looks great, if I only hadn’t just had lunch elsewhere. Would I return? Absolutely!
