A Chau Market

The best Asian market in Rogers. A’Chau carries a wide variety of specialty grocery items. They also have a wide variety of various fruits and vegetables. We love their selection of fresh fish and seafood. Their seafood prices are great! Highly recommend.

After a futile attempt to find specialty items at some of the other grocery stores in the area, I realize what a gem this place really is! In a 3 day trip I went there twice. They carry lots of products and vegetables that you certainly won’t find at even the more upscale stores. My second trip was right when they opened. The fish was frozen so it didn’t smell so bad. Produce varied in the level of freshness. At $ 1.99 a pound the fresh ginger was certainly cheaper than other stores in the area. If you are looking for Asian products, don’t bother with the regular grocery stores. Just come here instead.

The only asian store I go to when I am in Bentonville/​Rogers AR. It’s very small compared to Asian grocery chains but do not let this hinder you from going. If you are lookong for asian ingredients for your dish, you will likely find it here.
When you enter, the cashier is on the right and inside the cashier glass display are a few asian cosmetic products such as Eskinol, deodorant and papaya soap.
Still on the right past the cashier is an array of tables with assorted fruits and vegetables. I was able to buy mangoes, jackfruit, pears, bananas, lychee, coconut here. Vegetable selection is also good. To name a few: okra, string beans, bokchoy, chayote, mushrooms, and many other types of green leafy asian vegetables that i don’t eat.
The end is where there seafood is. They offer clean and cut service. Just point which fish you want. They have catfish, pompano, tilapia, salamom, tuna, some kind of red fat fish, those skinny small long dark colored fish. They also have frozen large squid red and the white one. There’s shrimp with head, no head. Sometimes they have live biting blue crabs. You grab a paper bag and use their thongs to catch them. I had also seen live crawfish but not that often as blue crabs.
On the left side they have freezers that stores frozen preserved food. They have dumpings and different types of dimsums, smoked fished, salted fish, frozen calamaris, frozen vegetables, egg rolls, etc.
They also have refrigerated food such as salted duck egg, black egg, quail eggs, korean noodles, kimchi.
Tons of asian sauces, canned goods, dried items are packed in their ailes. If you can’t find it, make sure you ask. They may seem busy but just wait and ask.
They sell meat too. Some hard to find cuts such as pork belly, pig ears, liver, heart, intestine. It’s beside the shrimp and sometimes hidden so make sure to ask.
Thanks to this store, I am able to make asian dishes such as sisig, liempo, korean bbq, maki-​mi, ramen, pork binagoongan, chinese herb black chicken.
The price is fair. They are about 10−15% more expensive then 99ranch in south california. Or the tulsa, ok asian stores. But I pay for the convinience.

A small stores that had a good selection of dry goods, exotic fruit, and unique cuts of meat and fish. They were really nice and helped us find what we needed. Worth a look if you’re searching for specific Asian ingredients.

Great little market for the main components of your asian dishes like oyster/​fish/​soy sauce, veggies, fish, and meats

This is a small store compared to Tang’s but it does have the main staples you need to make most Asian dishes.

can’t expect much for asian grocery in AK. but they have some stuff if you need something, just don’t compare it with Ranch 99/H-mart/T&T

This place have the basic needs including chinese vegetables which is key if you are looking to cook anything more authentic than Panda Express.
