Beautiful facility. I’ve never been in the rink building, but know the other one well.
Gorgeous pool. I swim laps, and usually have plenty of lane options.
Nice workout room. Elliptical machines go fast, but there are tons of other cardio options. Nice indoor track.
Good family prices.

This is a very nice recreation center. Price is good if you sign up as a family rather than an individual. Offer classes. Fitness center is nice and love the fact they have an indoor track. Haven’t yet had any problem getting a cardio machine without a wait. Much better than my previous «bargain» gym!

The best thing about this facility is that is well insulated, making it warmer than your typical hockey rink for spectators. Unfortunately, the in/​out doors are kind of backwards, and there isn’t much of a lobby for parents to sit/​wait/​chat while waiting for their hockey players to dress/​undress. This game, in particular, turned out to be pretty exciting. The officiating was terrible, so some of the Strongsville parents were a little too vocal. So much so, that it apparently offended one of the Rocky River parents. Next thing we knew there were like three Rocky River police officers in the stands (to keep the peace I guess). Someone said the station is next door. Fun, fun.
