Malley’s Chocolates

I’m not big on chocolate bars or truffles, but lord all mighty a box of those delicious Bordeaux toffees does not last long in my house! It’s English toffee and almonds drenched in Malley’s milk chocolate with a nutty chopped almond topping, mmm so good!
I want to go back and try their chocolate covered oreo’s and some peanut brittle!

One words: Malleo’s. They’re so good. I don’t like chocolate, but I do love Malley’s. There’s just something about everything they make that always tastes like its homemade.

Hershey’s chocolate factory in PA is not far away. In California, See’s Candy is the famous chocolatier… But, here in Cleveland, Malley’s is THE staple of sweetness!
With a chocolate factory off W. 130^th & I-​480 and a storefront in literally every town, Malley’s is indeed the BEST chocolate around… Chocolate drips in many forms in the cool, white & pink store and it smells decadent & rich when you walk inside. I went by around Easter time. I couldn’t choose from the 10 varieties of flavor-​filled chocolate truffle easter eggs — so, I bought one of each! My favorites were the thick raspberry mousse filled dark chocolate egg and the equally thick coconut crème filled milk chocolate egg.
Bonus buy was Malley’s milk chocolate covered bacon bark!!! Never even imagined I would like the taste — but, SURPRISE! It is delicious!!! Just as chocolate covered pretzels are a tasty mix of sweet & salty — so is the taste of milk chocolate bark mixed with pieces of cooked bacon. Perfect mix of sweet & savory! It was a hit at a cocktail party and as a dessert with coffee.
The prices are slightly higher because the quality is so evident. However, occasionally you can find get buys… Don’t be afraid to try unusual mixtures like chocolate covered fruit jells or chocolate covered corn chips!

Malleys, summed up in one word is… YUM. There is nothing like Malley’s Chocolate when you’re in the mood for something sweet. I highly recommend the Chocolate Covered Pretzels or Buckeyes. Good lord… chocolate heaven. This is a small location, but still really good selection. The day I was in there, they were playing Les Miserables on the radio (which made me fall in love with them even more). The prices are pretty high, so we keep these treats for special occasions or just when we’re really in the mood. These are also awesome gifts for people in your life who love chocolate and sweets.
