My husband and I went here for a couples massage and it was wonderful! He had Lisa and I had Kristy, we both felt relaxed and thought they did a great job. I have to say… what’s up with the music?! I felt like every song stopped abruptly and then it was followed by 4 – 5 seconds of silence… totally took me out of the«zone». I thought it was just me but he said the same thing. Very weird! I also didn’t love that they tried to sell us a package upon leaving and«oh the deal won’t be around much longer» — it seemed a little pushy. Other than those two things we had a great experience. The therapists and actual massage were just what we needed.

I love my massage woman Patricia! She is amazing! I have been going to Massage Envy for a few years now, the first time was a male massage person, I have spinal stenosis and he said I was extremely tight with huge knots all in my shoulders. I always am like that I told him it’s just part of the disease. He said he would try to get them out, he was to ruff, the next week I was Dieing in pain. Then I went back six months later had another woman, she was OK, but talked threw the whole massage? I saw her for like five months, she went out on maturity leave. Then I got patricia!!! OMG I love her, been using her ever since! She gets five stars! But yeah 60 minute massage should be 60 minutes!!!

after several months of tight and spastic back muscles that weren’t recovering from exercise the way they used to when I was younger, i decided to go for a deep massage to relieve tension and loosen muscle groups up. when I got there i was greeted courteously and informed the receptionist that I was interested in a one time massage just to stretch me out a bit. she set me up for an appointment for later that day and although i don’t have any qualms with the«therapist» that I saw I was caught very off guard when the same receptionist threw a contract in my face aggressively trying to get me to sign up for their one year, very restrictive contract. I said I wasn’t really interested and the reponse I got was«why not?» trying to be polite I informed her that it was the holiday season and cash was tight and at that point she should have left it alone, but she followed up with«well, you won’t even be billed until the beginning of january, so thats after the shopping season!» I then said that my girlfriend and I were moving soon and finances were also going to be tight for that reason and she still didn’t take no for an answer. They have a brilliant money making system going on where they wait until just after your first session, groggy and on an endorphin high, and SELLSELLSELL that year long contract that can’t be backed out of unless you have proof that you’re moving far away from civilization or you lost a limb. As I can achieve the same results from a session by using a foam roller and a tennis ball,(tricks I learned in physical therapy school) I feel that essentially you are only paying for the atmosphere of candles, aroma therapy and Enya on the overhead speakers. Massage envy should really re-think their obsurd 12 month contract and if nothing else be less aggressive in forcing it on customers. Put your comissions aside and think of the customer! Also, an hour session should be an hour session. not only 40 min.

After a few years with a chiropractor/massage group, i switched to Massage Envy a year ago. Now muscle therapy and diagnostics/massage is really what I need for the sailing, training, biking, and weight training and the associated issues that arise on my 55 year old chassis. the therapies and therapists have ALL been VERY knowledgeable and if you want therapy and not some foo-fey resort massage, ask for it and they can deliver! Deep, diagnostic, therapeutic knot reducing etc etc. I would give them 5 stars but have to ding them for being moderately more expensive for frequent visits. With gratuity its a bit pricey in my view and experience.

Don’t let the fact that this is a chain location fool you– the massages and facials at this Massage Envy are comparable(and in most cases, far surpass) what you would experience at an expensive spa or salon. The therapists and estheticians are fantastic(especially Mary Ann and Kristina!) and I love the fact that they offer day, evening, and weekend appointments.

I have definitely been to better places. First off, they give you some paperwork, which the receptionist goes over with you right there in the waiting area alongside other guests, which I found a bit weird. Then they move you to the relaxation area which has a big door that is all glass so you can see right into the front desk area, so not quite as relaxing as it should be. My massage was okay, the MT finished a bit too early. The worst part was that afterwards, when I was paying my bill, they gave me this whole sales spiel, and when I declined to «join», the receptionist had the nerve to ask me why not! I was totally turned off, and will not be a return customer. Not my idea of a relaxing, stress relieving experience. Oh, and this is the first place I have ever gotten a massage where they didn’t give me a bottle of water upon leaving the massage room. They gave me a small plastic cup of water, and they never told me that I should drink lots of water after, which you should. Massage envy? I don’t think so.

What a relief! After several bad experiences at other Massage Envy locations, I am glad that we did not give up on this place. We went in planning on using our last pre paid massage and canceling at the end of our session. However, we had an awesome experience here today! We went in for a couples hour-long massage. His therapist did exactly what he wanted and mine was out of this world! Tiffany was my therapist and Donna was Dale’s therapist. We felt completely relaxed and left feeling amazing — like you should after an hour long massage. The spa was clean, the staff were friendly, and the décor was relaxing. My only complaint — I was offered a complimentary aromatherapy up grade at the Massapequa Park location(due to a terrible customer service experience) and I was told that I could not use it at this location(Rocky Point). What is the point of offering a free upgrade to a location that you never want to revisit? The other location can keep their free upgrade because Rocky Point is our new spot! My only suggestion — making the«tranquility» room more separated from the front door to the lobby. Other locations that we have been to have this area in a more closed off room ~ this way you don’t have to hear the phones, customers, etc.

I’ve been in dire need of a massage since moving to Coram. The move took a lot out of me. I have chronic back problems, as well as carpotunnel. Based on the reviews here, I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. My wife and I went together, and both got the introductory priced 1 hour(50 min) massage. We were greeted professionally, and given paperwork to fill out. Both the greeter AND the therapists took time to discuss our particular issues before starting. The greeter assigned a therapist based on what we needed, and the therapists adjusted based on what we told them, and continued to adjust through the entire hour. Personally, I require someone with a firm hand — I have a lot of muscle tightness and swollen tendons. My therapist had the strength required to really address the problem spots. She wasn’t shy about using pressure, checked on me when something hurt. I told her that if it got to be too much, I’d tell her specifically — and instead of being paranoid when I said«ouch» she simply continued on. EXACTLY what I needed. Sometimes it’s gotta hurt a bit to feel better in the long run. When everything was over, we were NOT accosted going out to sign up for a plan or anything. I knew ahead of time that there were memberships, but no costs were posted. I like that they allowed ME to ask about it, rather than try to hard-sell me. They simply explained what it was, and that was it. The therapists made it a point to give us a card with their schedule on it. The value, I must admit, was significantly good. I have no objection to paying $ 59 for an hour massage, especially when it lives up to my expectations and more. My wife was equally satisfied, and we both purchased a membership. I’m looking forward to my future visits, and I highly recommend this franchise to others. If someone from the business is reading this — I’ll offer up a fifth star for: real candles instead of fake electric ones, and real water glasses instead of paper cups :) An option of warm green tea might be nice too.

Very professional place to get a massage. I have been here several times. The place is very clean and soothing. It’s easy to relax here. The massage therapists are very professional and most do a great massage. My personal favorite is Kelly. They offer evening and weekend hours. Appointments are highly suggested as it may be difficult to get a massage just by walking in.
