Ashburn Inn Of Gold Rock

First The pros. I checked in at 3 o’clock in the morning and only paid $ 29. The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. The room was in order and most everything worked. Now the cons. I had to chase 2 moths around the room and kill them before sleeping. Better moths than roaches. The sign out front said $ 25.95 and I paid $ 29. I checked in at 3:00AM and tried to extend check out til 12:00PM. The little Indian woman manager or owner said only if I tipped the maid $ 10.00. Breakfast was frosted flakes or waffles or raisin bread with sour milk. At least the orange juice was not sour. I wouldn’t of had breakfast if I hadn’t woken up at eight in the morning to pee. So I’ve got two hours to relax and watch TV but at least I got 3 ½ hours of sleep. They have a pool but there’s no water in it so that’s pretty useless. So to sum it up I’ve been in worse places but this was not the very worst. But yes I would say that this is a little fleabag motel. It’s not worth paying $ 30 but it would’ve been worth paying 15 or $ 20. Oh, I forgot this. The air-​conditioner did not work but I guess it was cool enough outside that I was able to sleep instead of sweating.
