I travel a half hour to get my eye brows threaded here every 2 weeks. The owner is amazing, quick, clean and my eye brows always look great Im so confident that I barely need to look in the mirror afterwards I’m just confident when I walk out of there. However, some of the newer girls are not as good. But either way, it’s clean, they are very quick and I have only had to wait once.

Just to give you a preview of how good they are at threading the life back into my brows — they are so good that I’m afraid to go anywhere else!
You know the deal ladies, finding a good threader can leave you feeling like Goldilocks and the Three Bears — this one took off too much, that one took off too little. But when you find a place that can arch a brow just right, by George you’re gonna stick with ‘em.
On top of having mad skills, they are reasonably priced ($ 8 for eyebrows) so you know they have me hooked. Mona, the owner, has become my favorite threader. Believe me she is worth the 30 minute drive from New Haven. No need to walk around with crazy brows cause you trusted some random at the mall, this place will have those eyebrows on fleek.

Efficient, clean, experienced — my eyebrows enjoyed this experience. It was a little stuffy in there, but they’re so quick when they attend to you that it won’t matter for long. $ 10 to get clean brows and hence your confidence back — worth it!

I’m very pleased with my eyebrows. She was quick, she took about five minutes. I came as a walk-​in and there were two ahead of me. Bring cash if you can, as with most places there is a minimum on cards.

After many years of failed waxing attempts I tried threading and I’m sold. Been going to Mona for over 2 years. I will only go to her. Only reason I give four stars is that the newer girls are not as good as Mona, the owner, and I’m not sure when I show up if she’ll be there. I highly recommend Mona.

I always get my eyebrows done here and believe me I am very picky. Mona is the owner and she is the best. She doesn’t talk much but she does listen, I’ll admit it does tend to get a little awkward because she doesn’t talk but she does a great job. I always tell her when I get my eyebrows done to leave them thick and give them an arch and I am always pleased afterwards. I have a straight eyebrow bone structure, I let my eyebrows grow for weeks so when I get them done she is able to give it a nice arch. She did hire 2 new girls from India and I loved how one of them did my eyebrows but I’m sad to see she’s no longer there. It does get extremely packed and sometimes it’s just 2 women doing eyebrows along with other services like henna. I recommend going around 10:30am it’s usually not that busy around that time. 8 dollars for eyebrows, 10 dollars in total because of tip.

I’ve been here twice. The first time my brows looked great. I should have stopped after the first time. My eyebrows are now super thin and one is significantly shorter than the other.
The store itself is nicely decorated and clean. The girl spoke few words to me and it felt like she would rather be doing anything else. I won’t be returning.

Went here per suggestion of a fellow Unilocaler. I used to go to place in the mall, which was out of the way and inconsistent. The girl here was very friendly, didn’t talk much. She listened to what I wanted and started her magic. Very meticulous just felt mild tugging which is normal. I have been having my eyebrows threaded about a year and a half. Yes, when you first start out you can feel it and might get puffy… but once you have been going for a while that goes away. I just get a little red because of the hair being pulled out and its gone in 5 minutes. This establishment is very clean and I plan on continuing to get my eyebrows done here…

Generally, they do an okay job with eyebrows. I prefer threading over waxing, but there are still not a lot of places that offer this service. Unique Eyebrow Threading is walk in only, which is great since I’m horrible at making appointments… but bad because I’ve always had to wait at least 30 minutes to get my eyebrows done. The price is right but if a place opens closer to home for me, I’d go there instead.

This was my first visit to unique. The store is pretty big n had loads of accessories n a chair at the threading station.
I have been to a few other threading places, this place is unlike all of them. The chair you get to sit on is comfortable however there was no mirror in front and dint like the service. To me this place dint feel like a saloon.
Threading was painful and I was left with few spots of rupture. Other saloons give a quick massage with some moisture after threading where as here you gotta do it yourself. This lady doesn’t even dust off the hair after threading, this was very irritating and my eyes were hurt!
Will never suggest this place!

When I first walked in, I thought I was in the wrong place because of all the Indian clothing and jewelry in the shop. So don’t worry if you’re confused when you walk in, you’re in the right spot!
The woman working there probably said less than 10 words to me the entire time I was there, so I felt a bit awkward and out of place as it was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded.
Overall, the experience isn’t anything to write home about, but my eyebrows look great and it was pretty cheap. $ 8, $ 10 with tip.

I’d never had my eyebrow hairs removed so I was slightly nervous.
3 stars for the total lack of any kind of communication on the part of the girl working there. I’m not expecting bedside manner or a chatty cathy but damn she didn’t tell me anything, even though I confessed that it was my first time getting this done. Could’ve asked me how thick/​thin I wanted them (they look too thin).
And yeah it does kind of hurt thankfully it’s over very quickly.
8 $ + tip = 10 $.
Probably not going to get this done ever again but if I did I guess I’d go back here.

I have never had my brows threaded, but now I am completely converted! It was $ 8 and she was done in 5 minutes. Mild, dull pinchy-feeling…but OMG… my brows have NEVER looked this good! Try it and you will never go back to waxing!!!
