Rockwall Animal Adoption Center

I adopted 2 wonderful kittens from this shelter in the last 4 months. I got Indigo in May and though I love him to death, he is a very rambunctious kitten and I finally caved and found him a friend on Monday, so he would have someone his own age and size to play with. «Grover» (his shelter name) is the most amazing and adaptive kitten ever! He is the perfect addition to our household that has now, because of him, been restored to harmony. He lived at the shelter for 2 months and was even returned once before I took him home on Monday. Patty, from the shelter, was very accommodating and helpful when I visited and answered all of my questions when she brought «Grover» out into the playroom. I am so Grateful to have both of them in my life and am very impressed with the condition of the shelter, the animals and the staff. «Trident» and «Grover» are definitely living their «Happy Tails»…

VERY IMPORTANT update!
This shelter is now completely privatized and run by Collin County Humane Society. It is still no-​kill! Much of the staff has changed. You are now greeted by a friendly animal loving face, unlike what the previous reviews say.
Don’t be afraid to come in and check them out. They are bursting at the seams with dogs and cats that need homes.
