Our daughter just started Primrose of Rockwall 3 weeks ago. We decided to put her in M-F ½ day, 8:30 — 12:30. It has been fantastic! She is 3 ½ and has started tracing letters, color pictures much better, learned quickly how to use scissors, interacts better socially and emotionally inside and outside of school. All in just 3 full weeks! We couldn’t ask for a better academic curriculum. The teachers are also very good. Ms Tammy has taken our little one from not participating at all in circle time, center rotations, etc. to fully wanting to join in and learn!!! Our daughter has been in Mother’s Day programs since age 2, but not picked up much academically. She is now! Shelly S.

My child has been at Primrose of Rockwall since August of this year and I have to say that I am very satisfied with the level of care and attention that is given by the director and his teachers. I worked at a daycare a while back so I know what to expect and so far I have not been disappointed. I love that they work with the kids in developing their senses through art work such as creating a ghost using finger paint and his foot print. All of the other daycares that I visited lacked that level of care and attention that Primrose of Rockwall provides.

I am giving this school stars because my daughter was not in grave danger while she was there and most of the teachers were nice. My daughter attended this school when we first moved to Rocwall in May 2014 for only six weeks. Prior to starting the school called and said they had her starting May 1 but hadn’t seen her. I reminded them that per several conversations she would be starting May 15. Maybe this was a sign of poor organization/communication but I blew it off. My daughter was eager to attend school as she had always stayed home(she’s 17months) and she never cried at drop off. The teachers were nice and I like the schedule. I had always heard good things about Primrose schools in general so my daughter was enrolled m-w-f. We got our first bill and noticed they had billed us for the first two weeks of May so we asked them to correct it. We got it back and they billed us for five days per week when we were there three. I start wondering who is running the place. Around this same time I am noticing that one of the two teacher positions in the classroom is changing day to day. My daughter then starts crying at pick up and drop off. Next thing you know she comes home with bruises down her spine. We paid the $ 50 summer fee and realize most of the summer activities take place on tuesdays and thursdays when she isn’t there. We decide to leave but are asked to sit down with the assistant director to tell her our issues. She seems concerned, tells us these matters will be addressed, mentions that classroom is having a lot of issues in turn-over, and asks us to give them a few days. We comply and go to get my daughter to find out she was bit that same day within arms reach of a teacher. The director NEVER says a word to us about this. I expect a «I was made aware of these issues and will be looking into it» something. After days of no follow up and no changes we turn in our two week notice. On our last day, my daughter was bit again and we find out by noticing it at dinner. I understand biting happens at this age but nobody noticed. You’re trying to tell me my daughter didn’t cry? it broke the skin. Each of these issues separately are things we could probably deal with but combined they show that this school is very poorly run. We have also found out that the owners are changing now as well. If this was your only choice or perhaps if your child was old enough to talk I might consider this school. Maybe if it were under new owners, new directors, and had consistent teachers we would consider again. 6 teachers in 6 weeks is not acceptable to me.
