Eclipse Fitness

I’ve been described as quite a few things in my life. Scrawny or little has never been one of them. What can I say, I like to feel strong. Being that as it is, I’ve been through the gauntlet of lots of gyms. I’ve signed expensive memberships, gone on month to month, and even tried out the local ymca’s over the years. Some of my biggest complaints have always been cleanliness, waiting, and the gym rats.
Honestly, I can’t blame a person for seeking out the best deal. $ 10 a month with no contracts? I’m interested. That is until I have to wait for marathoners on the treadmills so I can do my 20 stupid minutes of stupid cardio. Even when I tried to overlook that, I ended up plopping my ass down on a machine that was left greasy with a mixture of sweat and icy hot. Then, there are the chicks in full makeup at 5:30 am that strut around picking up imaginary things. Not to mention the meat head, roid freaks in the tap out t-​shirts that seem to have to grunt every single rep of every single exercise. Really Mr. douchey grunt man? Really? Then, when you try to ask the counter person if there’s a time of day when it isn’t so busy, you can actually hear their eyes blinking over the Katy Perry blasting overhead.
Solution? Well, if you live in, near, or you just have to drive by Rockwall I have two simple words for you. Eclipse Fitness. This my friends is the epitome of what a gym should be. It is kept cleaner than any business of any category that I have been to in a long time. They play decent music at an acceptable level of volume. They have the cardio theater thingys for the big tv’s (and they all work). Hell, there’s even a view of the lake. There is never a wait for anything, everyone is extremely nice, and every employee is helpful and polite. I’m there 4 – 5 days a week and I see the owners there everyday. The owners. Everyday. It is gonna be a bit more expensive then most, but it’s a month to month deal so that’s cool. A lot of places are cheaper, bigger, or have more locations, but a lot of places aren’t Eclipse either.

OMG This place is too good to be true! Month-​to-​month, with NO contract. I love coming here! It’s so beautiful, inside and out! Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Located on the shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, you get a great view of the lake while you workout! State of the art Equipment, Best trainers around, Childcare, Massage, Tons of Classes to choose from and it is the cleanest gym Ive ever been in! I cant imagine working out anywhere else!
