It’s attached to an Exxon so I figured it might be on of those upcoming awesome attached-to-a-gas-station joints. The food is cold, the food trays to keep the food warm … are almost EMPTY and to top it all off, the workers don’t look like they want to be there. They had huge piece of prime rib and meats sitting out and building hard crusts on the outter layer to kill your appettite. What good is it to pack flavors into your food if you are not willing to go the extra yard to keep the flavors in??? How can you sit meat out like that in such large portions out in the open air??? How can you constantly be pouring water on your mashed potatoes, green beans etc to keep the moisture locked under the water so that it won’t crust over??? How come you have fried food on your menu but NONE of your fry-ers are even on??? I took pictures before eating and after I was done … I didn’t even have the nerve to add them … enough said?

Many people on here know of the unholy coupling that is a Taqueria Gas station combo, they are my kryptonite. Whist making a liquor run to Sigel’s down Hwy 66 I nearly caused a 5 car collision because not only did the gas station I saw say Taqueria… it said BBQ and DINER! Let me tell you something, the food doesnt suck. Its cafeteria style with a short order grill thrown in for kicks and hamburgers. The BBQ here is quite exceptional, cooked with real wood, low and slow. Tossing an ace in the hole is cabrito on saturdays and sunday! Real Mexican ladies serve you real mexican food and it is freaking delicious. Go try them out, you wont be disappointed and if you are, then you possibly might not have tastebuds.
