Planet Pizza and Subs

When I called to order, I was told they were no longer taking my living social deal because some people with the same deal had been demanding and/​or rude. I am neither of those things, but they wouldn’t be swayed. I was able to get my money back from living social, but needless to say I will not be giving them a second chance.

Threw it out. The fact that the food had no flavor was the least of the problems. The chicken in the kabobs was just hunks of pressed meat from the disgusting parts of chicken. It was reminiscent of the chicken patties from bad school lunches. The grilled veggies were raw and diced into tiny pieces. Everything we recieved from them was completely inedible. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. It will be a complete waste of money.

Nice place thats open till late night! The owner is very friendly. I love the Shrimp pasta with garlic butter sauce.

This place really stinks. I had gotten a large pizza and a cold cut sub for my son. The pizza was under cooked and the sub had toppings on it that was not requested like tomatoes and mayo. The pizza was not cooked all the way in the middle and didn’t have all the toppings (missing the green peppers and mushrooms). My son whom does not like tomatoes and allergic to mayo couldn’t eat it and there is no way to take it off. When called the guy I talked to was really rude and sounded like he didn’t care about what I had to say. It will be the one and only time I ever order from that place. If I could give less then 1 star I would.

The absolute worst sub I have ever had in my LIFE!!!
I orders a turkey sub (at least that’s what I thought I ordered) I got home and unwrapped it and the meat is red. it looked and tasted like bologna, It was not turkey at least not a turkey I have ever had. On top of that it only had like 3 small pieces of lettuce, half a slice of tomato.
So I call them to ask if they gave me the wrong sub and the guy on the phone gave me some line that there turkey has a red color to it but it was definitely turkey… either way I did not eat it after I took one bite of it. I cannot believe I wasted $ 10 on this sub.
Never ever will I give this place my business!

The pizza is awesome! Tiny little place with small dive appeal. I’m surprised I havent been here before. Will definitely be back.

I LOVE this place!!! Its truly one of a kind business, i wish there were more places like this. First, they have late delivery hours and only charge .99 $ for it. Second, the food is sooooooooooo good!!! I don’t even like pizza but im obsessed with the sweet sauce and an option of ricotta cheese. It always comes with extra parmesan, chili flakes and a marinara dipping sauce which makes it bomb dot com! And their wings! BEST WINGS EVER! Forget Bonchon or BWW, these are perfectly huge, meat-​y and always fried just to the right crispiness. They have good selection of sauces, i love garlic parm (always would be better is they used garlic butter instead of powder) and honey is unique and sweet. The price can’t be beat either.
Third, the owner is an absolute sweetheart! He always just makes me feel so welcomed and appreciates the business, and has a good attention to my weird order alteration requests so everything is always correct. Just an overall amazing quality place!!!

None of my three kids would eat the pizza. I had a few slices but ended up throwing most of it away. The sauce had an unusual taste, not like anything was wrong, just much stronger than any pizza sauce I’ve had before. The crust was very soft and still doughy. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.

If I could give this place Zero stars I would. Owner was exceptionally rude to the point where we had to cancel our order because we couldn’t stomach giving them our money. We initially thought it was a disgruntled employee at first, until he let us know that he owned the place. We’ve gotten carryout here once before & my sub’s bread was completely soggy & covered in Mayo on the outside, but the fries were good i guess. Overall, Would warn people against this place.

It’a ‘joint’ if you planned on eating there. [eating there: I say that loosely] There are 3 small tables in front of the counter more there so a person has a place to sit & wait or eat quickly, not dine. It’s small.
The food was 100% fine. 100% fine!
My sub had good bread and was typical lunchmeat — nothing good or bad.
The pizza was actually good! It was cooked very well, the dough had good texture and the pieces were cut thin. The sauce was tomatoy, had sweetness but not sweet.

Ordered online a few different things, with mixed results. Salad was unimpressive, hamburger was so-​so, but eggplant parmigiana was OK.

Food was disgusting. There was a hair in my cheeseburger macaroni and the chicken salad was barely edible with relish, onions and half cooked chicken. When I called the owner he argued with me and hung up saying the hair didn’t come from them. I wouldn’t recommend my enemies to eat here.

I really like Planet Pizza. All of the meat used is halal and it tastes very good.
I love how for take out orders Mohammed includes marinara sauce, paper plates, napkins, utensils, and crushed red pepper packets without me even asking for it.
The mozzarella sticks are really good. They are lightly battered and the cheese it just perfect. They are seriously addictive.
Besides the sticks, BP and I have ordered pepperoni and mushroom pizzas, the lasagna and both the chicken and original Philly cheese steaks. We always have been happy with our orders!

I don’t know why people used to think so low of this small local business, but my experiences have been great. I’ve ordered the steak and cheese twice now and it rivals most in the area. Prices are incredibly competitive too and the owner is a kind guy… but to be honest, the menu is far too big. Still, for the amount of menu items, I have never had a bad piece of food! But seriously, the steak and cheese is worth it for the Rockville area.

This was the worst food ever! My friends and I wanted something that had both pizza and other foods so we chose this place without reading the reviews! Big mistake!!! Anyway we ordered beef kabobs– which was actually ground beef balls that were Disgusting! Smh. Then we got baked ziti, it was bland with only sauce and noodles no meat. And the other two got gyros. What a joke it was the messiest hard to eat pita I’ve ever seen! Then we got free mozzarella sticks that were filled with hard cheese and no marinera sauce! It was the worst! my nephew got a cheeseburger and let me tell u he only took one but! Needless to say we had so much food left over, definitely not satisfying, worth the wait or money. The delivery guy was nice! I will never order from them again.

Great pizza, reasonable pricing, especially since they’re not made ahead of time, unlike major pizza chains (papa johns, Pizza Hut, etc).

While the owner was quite nice, the pizza was mediocre. The crust was far too doughy, the sauce tasted processed, and the meat toppings were greasy. Plus, the estimated time for my carryout order was 10 – 15 minutes, when in reality, it took 45 minutes.

Hands down, the worst pizza delivery place in the area!
This place has the worst food. Pizza is standard. The taco salad is nasty. All it is lettuce with some chips on top. And a side of chili like sauce that is plain awful. The Chicken Noodle Soup, is just Noodle in a Cup put into a fancier container and charged at $ 6 an order. Ridiculous! You can get this for $ 1 elsewhere! UGH!
Delivery takes FOREVER.
Last, they forgot an order, and so we had to wait for them to return and bring the missing item. Which took forever again!
The sandwiches are decent, and no one really liked it enough or at all to ever order from here again. Awful.

I will never order from them again. I am writing this while I am still waiting on my delivery. I was told it would take 30minutes to have it delivered where I work — that was an hour and a half ago. When I phoned to ask for a discount since we (co-​workers and myself) were waiting so long, the owner’s reply was «Customers Are Not God.» I will write again once we receive the food — IF we receive the food
Food received finally — DO NOT EAT THE TACO SALAD the taco salad is a chef salad with 8 tortilla chips that were so stale it was like chewing gum.
The hot food was cold and the cold food was room temperature.
The Caesar salad had rotten broccoli and a funny smell.
When the owner received negative feedback, he yelled and accused us of being against him. (When we ordered the other day, the food was good and on time which is why we ordered today).
Due to his actions and poor food quality, our company will NEVER order from him again.
I am going to email this link to him. I am sure there will be several made up responses saying this place is great.
