First time at this location. I ordered my favorite dish — Indonesian peanut noodles– and it was awful here. Very DRY barely any sauce or flavor. There were parts where the noodles where completely naked; nothing on them. They didn’t even bother to stir. So much for consistency for this franchise. I’ll go back to the Bethesda location, where they know how to make this dish so you can eat it instead of choke on it.

Went to another Noodles & Company and loved it. This one– not so much. The employee at the register got our order wrong– TWICE. She stated that they had the meat we wanted on our pasta when they didn’t, charged us for for feta that we didn’t want, left out ingredients that should have been in our pasta bowls. We ordered pasta bowls regular but the serving amount was similar to a small size. Also they gave us spicy when we just wanted regular pasta ?? Left annoyed, just wanted to enjoy a nice meal out, no offence to customer service but it would have been nice if they at least got it correct or reimbursed us.

I ate the steak and mushroom dish for lunch this past Sunday, March 20, 2016, and proceeded to become violently ill for the next 48 hours. I had to call out of work, and I spent two full days repeatedly vomiting and using the bathroom. I am just now starting to feel normal again, and I would recommend avoiding this establishment, and all noodles locations, for your own sake. Thanks a bunch, noodles.

In all fairness, this is one of my monthly go-to’s and I’ve never Unilocaled about all the good experiences I’ve had so far. So I’m a little more lenient with this score than I’d normally be, rounding up a 1.5* review to 2*. Had I reviewed every visit in the past, this one would be rounded down to 1*. Tonight, I had a BOGO coupon, and got what I paid for… with the second entrée. I ordered a Pad Thai with steak. It took ten minutes for our dishes to arrive. What was delivered to the table certainly looked like Pad Thai with steak, loaded with lots of glorious egg as well… but my first bite of the noodles at the top of the dish had an odd taste. Mixing up the noodles in the bowl brought a shrimp to the surface. Then another. Then a third.(Did I mention I have a shellfish allergy?) Not enough shrimp that they got my order«wrong»(there would have been a lot more had I paid for two proteins) – but just enough that they mixed up ingredients between two separate orders on the prep line. I brought it to the counter to request a re-make. They apologized profusely and pledged to bring another right out to me. It took even longer to get the re-make than the first dish – my son was finished with his entrée by the time it arrived, and the server apologized. I didn’t look at the dish until the server left, and again something was amiss – there was no egg in the re-make. Another trip to the counter, another apology and a promise to deliver the egg on the side – which they did in five minutes. The noodles in the re-make were a lot firmer(undercooked?) than they were supposed to be. As problematic as the initial bowl was with shrimp contamination, just minutes earlier they at least managed to prep the actual noodles properly. Add to this a Freestyle soda dispenser that had many selections greyed out(unavailable) – Sprite, Dr. Pepper, *all* the different flavored syrup shots… leaving patrons confused and taking long times trying to figure out what they wanted to drink – there was a visible backup at the dispenser throughout our entire visit. I’m hoping I caught them on a really bad night. Looking forward to updating this review(hopefully for the better) on my next visit.

This location of Noodles & Company is walking distance to our home. We find ourselves eating here often for the following reasons: 1) the food is good; 2) it is family friendly and the kids like the food(we have twin 3 year olds and teenagers); 3) it is clean; 4) it is reasonably priced. I tend to get either the steak stroganoff or the pad thai. The new kids meals are great. All in all, a good dining option on Rockville Pike.

The food at this location is tasty as well as healthy and the selection of dishes includes something for just about anyone. Although often crowded, it is kept reasonably clean. Turnover is rapid, so seating is generally available. In warmer weather, there’s also outdoor seating.

My family used to enjoy coming to this location especially since they closed the Rockville Town Center location. Unfortunately, the service and quality of food has been going down hill fast. Portion sizes have decreased dramatically even compared to other locations such as the Kentlands. My large size bowl was the same amount of food as my daughter’s small size pasta. The most concerning issue is that we have found macaroni and spaghetti noodles in thegluten free fussili for my daughter who has celiac disease. This contamination can be devastating for those with celiac. We will likely not return to this location which is a shame since we’ve been coming for 6 years!

Picked up dinner. Ordered online, and arrived a couple minutes before it was supposed to be ready. Of course it wasn’t ready until a few minutes after it was supposed to be ready – probably less than five minutes, and they were busy because it was dinner time. Pretty standard Noodles. My bread was super dry and stale. I wish they had given me some butter with it.(The menu says it comes with butter, but I guess you have to ask for it.)

We were out shopping in the area and stopped for an early bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick service and high quality of my meal. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with feta, olives, red pepper, Greek dressing and onion. It came with a cup of tomato bisque soup. The soup was creamy and rich with a delicious tomato broth. All of this for $ 6.99. It was quite a deal. My friend had the whole grain pasta and grilled chicken. She loved her dish too. Located in Congressional Plaza right on Rockville Pike. This is a great place to stop for a quick and hearty meal.

This Noodles and Co location is among the best! Their manager changed within the last year, and things improved dramatically. Consistency of their dishes from visit to visit and use of the appropriate ingredients and seasonings make this a favorite lunch spot of mine.

This restaurant is located in a nice strip mall. At lunch time it gets pretty busy. I saw the servers cleaning up the tables as soon as customers left. The cashier who took our order was very friendly. We ended up ordering penne rosa and pad Thai. The pad Thai was lacking in flavor. The penne rosa was okay. Overall the taste of the food was not that great. But the customer service was good and they do keep a clean environment. I might go there again to try their Mac & cheese or chicken noodle soup.

I have LOVED Noodles & Co since 2000-ish, when I lived in Denver, CO — which I think is where Noodles got their start. But this location makes the skimpiest orders. I have gone twice now, and don’t think I’ll be back. In the CO&VA locations, the noodles are so plentiful(as they should be given the name of the chain), I usually ordered the small & had leftovers. At this location, the large didn’t fill me up. VERYDISAPPOINTING for a long time fan of the chain.

Two stars for quick service and nice staff. My luck with to-go orders is 0 for 2. I ordered two dishes without sprouts. I opted for some other veggies to replace the sprouts. One order was right, but the other was not. Pad thai had literally one piece of egg in it. Gave some feedback on corporate website so we’ll see if they respond. Management followed up and very apologetic, promised to make it right.

I went into this noodles and company yesterday and everything was fine till after I placed my order. There was no line only people waiting for their food. My order came out AFTER a party of 5 people. I literally had ordered a mac and cheese and a flat bread. My experience was just terrible. Not only was the staff rude they were unprofessional and apparently one of the workers was not wearing gloves. Can you believe these people?! NEVER going to this place again. Boycotting Noodles&Co.

This location is one of the best locations I’ve been to. The staff is nice, the seating area is clean, and most importantly my food is made perfectly! I’m picky and usually have special requests to what I want and what I don’t want in my food and they never mess that up!

Simple and consistent. Can’t complain for a national chain. Granted I didn’t go at a busy time. They are also good about modifying any ingredients, that was a huge plus for the picky eaters I went with.

My chicken noodle soup was very good. They have gluten free noodles, so that was a plus! My husband ordered the Thai Hot Pot soup & loved it. My only complaint is the plastic spoon! Too small! Why on earth don’t you have real soup spoons?!?

As second wave fast food goes, Noodles and Company is pretty good. I’m not sure why this place was jammed packed on a Wednesday at 6:30– must have been the pre-Thanksgiving rush. They handled it well, and it moved along nicely. I like the pan noodles with beef. I’ve had it a few times at a few locations and N&C makes it well and it is consistently. My son loves their mac and cheese. I am not in love with those new choose any one of 1000 soda machines that this location has – they have been popping up all over. I am Pro Choice in all things, and god knows i appreciate being able to choose Caffene Free Diet Coke. But these machines create quite a line as patrons(like my kid) have to cycle through multiple changes to get their desired soda.

Out with granddaughter doing errands and we needed a quick lunch, but not fast food. Noodles & Company is a nice compromise, fast service but decent food with healthier choices. We’ve been to the Rockville location many times and the food has been consistent and the service quite decent. The last time there I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup, GD had a small mac and cheese, plus we ordered 2 self-serve soft drinks. My soup was very good, a nice, rich broth with chunks of chicken and noodles cooked to just the right texture(I hate over-cooked noodles). GDs mac and cheese was rich and cheesy and she was quite happy with it. On previous visits we’ve had salads and they were good too. I am so glad I went with an 8 year-old as together we were able to navigate the super new(to me) touch screen soda dispenser(with husband it might have been a bit of a struggle). You start with a screen offering 16 or so different basic choices – root beer, diet coke, caffeine-free diet coke(why bother?), fruit punch, etc. After you make your first selection you go to a new screen which offers you different options for your drink of choice – vanilla coke, lime coke, etc. They also have wine and beer, and trust me I love a nice glass of wine, but I’d almost stick with soft drinks just to get to «play» with the soda dispenser.

Japanese pan noodles are my absolute favorite. Flavor is consistent however, I wish the regular bowl was a bit bigger.
