Below average. Got the super cheesesteak with mushrooms, peppers, and provolone, and the fried jalapeños. The steak on the sub seemed slightly undercooked, looked grey and unappealing. Best way to describe the flavor was«Meh». The fried jalapeños looked like they were retrieved from the dumpster. They were not very crispy although the taste wasn’t bad. I regret not eating this cheesesteak outside in the cold with fingerless gloves to complete the experience.

It was 7:45 on a Sunday and I was trying to find a place that still was open and sold sub sandwiches, they closed at 8pm. I called up, gave my order and the person on the phone was polite. Got my order done and was done as I said. A person came after me begging for a pizza and they were very nice to make him one just as they were closing up. Very acceptable and a good stop while in the mall.

Jeez, the lady had a grumpy side! So I order a Big W sub, fries and a slice a pizza. I asked for No Onions and No Tomato. Anywhere I go I always order my Steak and Cheese this way to the point where its a bad habit. I know what I want I know what I ask for. Waited 5 to 7 Minutes, no one calls my order so I go and check and it’s right there. Mind you they have been calling other orders by ticket number. I get my order and well it has Onions and tomato. I ask, Hey I told you I didn’t want these. She said No you didn’t. Let’s stop right here, any type of food service would stop and redo it right? Nope, she starts to argue. I say look at your ticket where you circle what you want and don’t want as far as toppings. BAM! No Onion No Tomato!!! WTF! lol Ok lets go on after she’s yelled at me. To this moment I have been very mellow. Now she decides to rant in Spanish to her coworker of how I never said anything and blah blah blah insult insult insult. Ummmmm Hello lady, I speak Spanish! Say it to my face so now I’m upset. Don’t speak profanity in Spanish or talk about someone. Come on! Why make a big deal? You messed up fix the mistake I just wanted my food right. No need to argue with me when obviously the order form shows I was right and lastly don’t talk about customers especially if it’s in a different language. It just happened to be that I spoke the same language. Can we say RUDE? Hey Jerry, get rid of these rude wannabe managers and or angry ladies who are on b***h mode all day! I wish I could have thrown a few large Steak and Cheese’s at this lady. Did she get attacked by a steak and cheese monster or what bit this lady! Jeez

The food is not bad… usual Jerry’s fair. The poor rating is for the poor customer service. I’ve been going here over the last 10 years and the staff was OK. Not great, but OK. Today, however, a employee(seemed like she was a manager) tried to charge the MontCo bag tax when my husband asked for a bag for his leftover half-sandwich. This was a paper bag and is clearly exempt from the MontCo tax under the restaurant exemption( ). I mentioned this exemption. The employee decided it would be best to get in an argument with me about it — even after she told us she would not charge us. Then, RIGHTINFRONTOFME, she rants about me to another employee. Anyway, my husband and I went here somewhat often — but we’ll get our philli fix from another location in the future, due to this employee’s behavior. Oh, and my customary bathroom review: it is up the backstairs and ewwwww. Find another location in the mall!
