My mother is still unfortunately at this place, after being transferred here from the hospital, following a fall. The staff does not return phone calls, they are arrogant and oftentimes don’t even answer the phone at the main number. It just rings and rings. I’ve gotten few updates on my mother’s condition (and I live out of state), and with the exception of speech therapy, the staff tends to be incredibly unhelpful and rude. Don’t send your loved one here!

My aunt was transferred here from hospital last night. Today she called and said night staff were yelling (on the unit) and treating her in an intimidating way (she is there for IV antibiotics and PT, but has her wits about her).
When my aunt complained, a meeting with the Director of Nursing quickly followed, and her responsiveness, candor and lack of defensiveness were evident. The entire focus of the meeting was fact-​finding and problem-​solving – and solutions quickly followed.
My aunt was afforded a different room in a location where she would not see the same night crew, and the succession of staff who stopped in to set up her care plan were all emphatic, courteous, and professional. She was very pleased and I was impressed.
I hope that I don’t have cause to edit this review a third time. I would give the joint five stars based on their recovery from last nights fumble, but want more time to be certain that today’s professionalism is indeed the norm…

The attendants in this place managed to kill my father within one week. He came in week from hip replacement surgery. They forgot to bring him meals, left his oxygen cannula slipped out of his nose when they visited the room, forgot his meals, and were generally unfriendly and unhelpful. I was going to move him out on Monday. That was one day too late.
