Outrages services and labor rates. Quoted us almost triple the prices of nearby competitors to replace a simple unit. Always shop around because more than likely you can find another company to do the same work for a more reasonable rate!

I am a new investment property owner of a 1 bed 1 bath condo in Gaithersburg. A few months after I purchased it, the HVAC system went out and I ended up replacing the entire system. I figured I wouldn’t have any other problems with the system… until it stopped working, about 4 months after it was installed. I went on Unilocal to check reviews and get availability for an HVAC tech to go out and help troubleshoot the issue. I called Glenmont HVAC as they provide service in the area and had great reviews. And let me tell you, the reviews do not lie…
Glenmont HVAC was able to have a tech out to the property the next day. They showed up early, and even called ahead of time, great! The tech was friendly and knowledgeable, and got straight to the problem. He even explained everything and showed me the issue.
Unfortunately, the issue was due to a bad part. They offered to call the manufacturer and see if it was under warranty. In the past, other companies offered to do additional work, but never called me back. Well, Glenmont called me back the next day with an update and even got the original installer lined up to do the work. I wish I would have known about Glenmont before, as I would have used them from the start! They will easily be my go-​to company for any future HVAC work in this property or my own. Amazing!

My AC went dead at 3 in the morning !!! By 5 it was fixed !!! Best service ever !!! Thank you !!!

From the phone to the service appointment, great customer service. Judy and her team at the office as well as the technicians are helpful and explain things to me in a way that even I could understand. As I told the tech, I know about many things, but I defer to those that have the experience and knowledge on things I am unfamiliar with.

If you live in VA, MD or the District, definitely consider using Glenmont Heating and Air Conditioning. They saved me several thousand dollars. Another company told me it would take up to 5 days to get the parts ($ 1K in parts, who knows how much in labor)… but they could get a new unit in tomorrow ($ 3 — $ 5K). Of course we were in a deep cold spell with several inches of snow looming in the next couple of days. Glenmont came out and found that it was simply a switch that needed to be reset. Unfreakinbelievable. Gotta love the honest guy doing honest work. :)

This company did right by me when 3 others came in and wanted to just sell me a $ 15,000 new system. Brian came in and fixed a simple problem and told me the high end system would not be needed in our home. LOVE this guy. He installed a new water heater and fixed a basic plumbing problem which had been plauging the home for goodness knows how long. FIVE STARS.
