Is it the best pizza ever? No… not even close. But hardly anywhere sells pizza by the slice around here, and the 5.75, two-cheese slices and a soda deal is pretty banging. I keep comin’ back!

My favorite pizza in Montgomery County! Thin crust, plenty of cheese. Never disappoints.

Went here probably once a week when I lived in Rockville. I love their chicken cheesesteaks and their mozzarella sticks. Definitely worth a trip for this family friendly place.

Is the cleanliness of this place questionable? Yes. Are the people rude. Most definitely. The man who was cleaning got angry because I walked behind him. Ummm sorry? So here is the deal. I went in there tonight and the floor was so filthy I was walking on tip toes. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until I had paid for my pizza and picked it up from the counter. It had looked like someone spilled soda and people tracked it around all over the dining area. There was also food all over the floor. I was shocked that people were dining in like they didn’t even notice. Maybe it is a fluke because I’ve been here several times before and have never witnessed this. It also seems as though the pizza is going downhill. It doesn’t have much flavor but 5.25 for two slices of pizza and a drink, can’t beat that. This will probably be my last time coming here because if they are bold enough to leave the dining area that dirty, I can’t imagine how the kitchen is or isn’t cleaned.

I grew up in Rockville and grew up going to Giuseppi’s. This maybe will seem over-the-top to some people but this is my favorite pizza in the whole world. The cheese, crust and sauce are all just perfect. A little greasy, but hey, grease is good and if you’ve got a problem with it use a napkin. Really not much more to say about it. it’s just a magical place with magical pizza.

This will inevitably come across as hyperbolic, but I’m gonna just type it anyway: this place as the 2nd best pizza I’ve ever had. Period. Grimaldi’s in NYC is the only place that’s better, and that’s saying a lot. I’ve been to Rome, Toronto, Russia, and other spots around the world. This pizza is that darn good. Seriously. I can’t say I’ve ever tried anything other than my favorite: sausage with spinach. There’s lots of other stuff on the menu, but I savor the pizza so much I’ve never even considered trying anything else. The slices are good sized, the pizza is always fresh out the over, and the toppings are delicious. The spinach is lightly sauteed, seasoned just right and generously applied. The sausage has the right amount of spice and is sliced to a perfect thickness. The crust is chewy and flavorful. Places like this make you wonder just why good pizza is so hard to find and make you appreciate the artistry of making a perfect one. Sidebar: I’ve been other places and asked for spinach on my pizza. 9 times out of 10, they just take raw, uncooked leaves of baby spinach(!!!) and toss them on the pizza. Who does that? Seriously. Take a cue from Giuseppi’s. Sauté the darn spinach. It takes 30 seconds. If you can’t do that, don’t offer it as a topping! Anyways, you have to visit this place if you’re in Rockville. Find somewhere to park and head inside. The lines are long at lunch but move quickly. Ms Feldman is always quick with the smile and her son’s always down to talk Steelers FB. The lunch special(with a drink) is well priced and you can get discount movie tickets while you’re in there. Just a great place. I love it!

Man, I love Giuseppi’s Pizza! Today I ordered their two slice of cheese pizzas and drink special for $ 5.25 w/o tax. The slices are large and loaded with cheese. The cheese, the cheese! The cheese that’s used on the pizza is what makes this pie special. The cheese tastes like pure buttermilk! It has a smooth and creamy texture that I have never experienced before on a slice. If my memory is correct, Giuseppe’s uses their blend of mozzarella and provolone cheese to create that creamy, cheesy, pizza perfection. The crust is a NY style thin-crust that is crunchy, with a small amount of char on the edges, to give it contrast and flavor. The sauce is mild as not to over power the flavor of the creamy-smooth silky cheese. Remember, at Giuseppi’s, it’s all about the cheese! I want to try their pizza with toppings, I’m just reluctant to do anything that may take something away from the cheese experience. Two slices are definitely in order whenever in downtown Rockville. Just be aware, parking in the area is a bitch during normal business hours.

This place is great! The pizza is very good, as are the sandwiches and sides. I’ve been probably 30 time and loved it every time.

Really good pizza. A nice atmosphere to eat in at. Not bad prices. I’m not a big fan of the crust, but some people love it.

I’m originally from New York, and living in MD creates a challenge for finding good pizza. Giuseppe’s has made that challenge obsolete. If you’re in the Rockville area and want some good Italian food, I highly recommend this place. Oh, did I mention the staff are very friendly:)

Salad! Pizza! I’ve been going here for ages since they were even at the old location which was sadly bulldozed :(Alas! I was thrilled years ago when they opened up the new location right next to the movie theater! The staff and owners are all great people. Very close knit and you can tell they truly care about every customer experience. In terms of pizza and salad you can’t go wrong here. I have loved their house Italian dressing since day one. I wish they sold it by the bottle! They’re conveniently located by the circuit and district courts and other offices so it’s a good option if you need something to eat fast, especially when everywhere else has a huge line during the lunchtime rush. I believe the lunch specials(two slices and a drink) are around the $ 6 mark. Great deal! The full pies are reasonably priced and delicious. The toppings are always proportionate to the cheese and sauce ratio. While I’ve tried other menu items over the years such as their calzones and subs I haven’t been as impressed. So I’d stick with the apps, salads, and pizza. It’s affordable and a family go to. Quick tip — they have two entrances so don’t worry about which to go through as both are fine.

Great pizza! Something different instead of boring pizza chains. They deliver but it was an hour wait so I picked it up. No big deal though.

I stopped by here for pick up because of the fried pickles. Seriously, the fact that they have fried pickles makes me want to give them at least 4 stars! But even better, it’s a hefty portion too! I usually have to split it and eat it twice, or share(but really, when it comes to me and fried pickles… I don’t like sharing). My only thing is I’m not the biggest fan of them being served with a sweet honey mustard-like dip. Next time I’ll ask for ranch or blue cheese. The salads are also pretty yummy! I’ve had the greek with chicken and the hot grilled chicken salad with greek dressing. Obviously I am a huge fan of their greek dressing. There are clumps of feta in it! Not everyone’s cup of tea but definitely mine! The hot grilled chicken comes with grilled onions. I’m not a fan of onions but these are fantastic and definitely go well with the salad! These salads do come on a styrofoam plate with tin foil over it for carry out though so just be aware! I’ll definitely have to stop by for their pizza and pastas because they’ve got some pretty awesome deals, but I’ll probably end up ordering the same things over and over again because they’re so yummy. Definitely check them out!

Best pizza in Rockville! Antipasti salad is also to kill for. Ask for the house ranch dressing. If they have one fault it is they give too much. If you ask for a toppings make it a half portion. Two slices with a soda deal is hard to beat. But for a family of four get a large plane pizza. You will not regret it.

Nothing fancy, just a solid pizza joint, padded chairs and tables. Good mozzarella sticks, good pizza, dough not too thick, lots of toppings, and I tried birch beer for the first time(eh). If I lived closer I would get Giuseppi’s rather than any of your chain pizza places. They are good at what they do!

SALADALERT!!! The hot grilled chicken salad is worth skipping the pizzas and subs. Now the pizza and subs look quite tempting but when trying to watch your figure, the grilled chicken salad is more than satisfying. The salad consists of hot(in temperature) grilled chicken breast, shredded cheese and grilled onions on top of a bed of fresh lettuce. I get the salad without onion and they are always willing to accommodate. I also prefer the greek dressing to finish it off. The curly fries are also out of this world and taste best when dipped in a ketchup & mayo mixture. This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Speedy service, friendly faces, clean accommodations, tasty food and call ahead options… what more can you ask for.

The bf suggested this place for the cheap pizza special but I decided to try the Philly cheesesteak instead. It was yummy and I don’t have any complaints about it. The cashier was very thorough in asking what I wanted on it and listing the options which was helpful since it was my first time there. It’s only $ 2.29 to add fries and soda. I would order the cheesesteak again but the curly fries were bland and didn’t even taste like potato. Also, Giuseppe’s could use a good cleaning. There was food all over the floor and the walls were grimy. Still, good value for the price.

One of the few locations within the Rockville Town Center /Square area that does not charge a lot and actually has lunch special pricing. On this date I had their Philly Steak Sub 6″ and decided to get the lunch special — came with fries or salad and a soda($ 7.54). I enjoyed my meal even though the sub was a little greasy, but that’s not a big thing. My friend got the Pizza special which was 2 slices of cheese and a large soda($ 4.99); toppings were only 30 cents each and they ate it all. Most lunches in the area cost around $ 12 and that doesn’t include drink. I always like coming here as the staff is great and very helpful. Tip: A surface parking lot is located a few steps in front of the location. I don’t know the cost, but after 5pm and on weekends it is $ 1.50. There is also another parking garage nearby. Walking distance from the Rockville Metro Station(red line) — about 1 block.
