I’ve been to Dr. Wagner 3 or 4 times and think he is a very good doctor. However, his office is very disorganized and calls are not returned. Often there is not a live person answering the phone. As such, I have found another practice that was recommended.

David Wagner was of enormous help to me, taking me on in an emergency basis for a detached retina. He did a superb job, using the «bubble procedure» and saved nearly all of my eyesight. My regular doctor in Boston at the Mass Eye and Ear Institute was highly laudatory. He is also a very friendly, conversation-​prone doctor with great knowledge of a great many fields and is thus very interesting to talk with. The woman who answers his telephone is somewhere between incompetent and hostile and the billing practices are, at best, dicey but as a physician, Dr. Wagner merits the five stars. If I could give him ten, I would.
