I usually do not leave reviews of fast food places simply because you are in to get food quickly and out quickly. You are not in there for a fine dining experience or to make a friend. I don’t care if the service is impeccable or sloppy, as long as the order is correct.
However, after my visit to this particular location, I thought I would take the time to write a review. I went in on a weekday evening and it took me about 10 minutes to get from the end of the line to the counter. I ordered and had no complaints with this; it was a single sandwich I ordered. Since I wasn’t taking the sandwich to go, I was given a purple thing to put on the table. I went and sat down.
Ten minutes into the wait, I went back up to the counter and asked the cashier if I was supposed to wait by the counter for my order or would it be brought out to me. I honestly wasn’t sure. She let me know that someone would bring it out to me. I went back to me seat and waited… and waited.
32 minutes after I had ordered, I finally caught a worker’s attention and she asked what was happening. She took my receipt and said she would be back in a couple minutes. I thought she was just going to get the sandwich. I was quite surprised when she came back with not only the sandwich, but also another receipt, where she had refunded the sandwich. She then offered me a complimentary item for such a delay; I took a small order of the fries.
I would have had just a slightly less than satisfactory visit had the young woman just brought out the sandwich when she promised. Instead, just like those surveys ask: I was very satisfied with the experience I had at this location. I was really surprised to see how pleasant everyone was– not just the young woman who brought the sandwich… it was actually a bit unnerving!

Perhaps it’s because every other chik fil a has spoiled us, but the service left much to be desired. No smiling faces, no «thank you» or the signature «my pleasure». No one came up and asked if they could refresh our beverages, another thing I’m used to at chik fil a, regardless how busy. It was hard to tell where the line to order started or ended. It was just a completely average fast food service experience, which is definitely less than ever expected from chik fil a.

What happened to the days when the Chick-​fil-​a employees asked if they could get you something else and acknowledged you when you came up for a refill? Felt very ignored and unappreciated as a customer tonight.

I absolutely LOVE chic fil a, but this by far is the SLOWEST chic fil a that i have ever been to. With no drive through, every time I come to this place there is a line wrapped around the entire restaurant. Never try and come during lunch, I spent my whole break in the line. Of course the food is good, but is it really worth the avg of a 20min wait time?

The food is good but the service is terrible. The line to order moved so slowly. The cashiers are not friendly at all. My cashier softly mumbled when he spoke and I had to constantly ask him to repeat what he was saying. I wish they had put in a drive thru. I won’t come close to this place on a Saturday.

Slow service and no drive-​thru. One of the worse Chick-​Fil-​A locations in this area. Being a Georgia native (where this restaurant chain was founded), it is abomination the way management tolerates the low quality service and attitude by its employees.
I cannot get a decently made chocolate milkshake for the world at this place. I go to the location at White Oak. I do not recommend!

May not like the politics, but the chix.
For a fast food spot, the line was pretty long. However, it moved quickly and orderly.
I used the free Original Chik-​fila coupon I got at the Capitals game and paired it with waffle fries, of course.

I fed my grown ManBabies aka Godsons who surprised me with a passing through visit on their way to camp. What’s a quicker way & healthier option than CFA?
Young Ashley & her bright ruby red lipstick was on her cashier game, with a speedy & smiling hello & the normal how could she help us. I gave her the order, while I’m sure she was being admired from far from the crew.
Before all the utensils were gathered, our order was ready & delivered by who looked like the Owner/​GM. Always a treat to have the head of the food chain assisting their staff. All hands on deck for the condiments & we were on our way.
The store is always in extra clean mode & full of happy ‘Eat Mor Chikin’ representatives. Service is grade A, even without a Drive Thru, not sure why this location doesn’t have one. The restaurant is spacious with the dedicated playground in it’s own area with offering booths, a few bistro tables & a counter.
The inspirational signage is a plus to read with each visit & the bathrooms are never out of place or uncleaned/​non sanitized.
Great & healthy meals for a phenomenal price & snap of a finger service… everyone was overly content. & yep, even as a non meat eater, I do enjoy the Waffle Fries & Diet Lemonade.

If you come on the weekend pack your patience… the line is almost always wrapped around the resturant. But i can say that I have never ever had bad service here. I love coming. I don’t mind the wait, it speaks volumes to how much the customers love this Chick Fila location.
The hardest thing about a weekend visit would be finding a parking space and searching for a table… but relatively speaking it’s not that bad. By the time you’ve made it through the line a table is open. If you’re not a baby person, Id say dont come to this location midmorning to noon. You either get a tribe od preteens finishing up with sports or a bunch of toddlers and their adorable mickey mouse voices… either way kid chatter will be echoing everywhere!
The food is always fresh and fast. I don’t have to recite my order… it’s Chick Fila. The resturant is always clean. I mean why complain. If i ran a resturant I’d pray for this kinda business myself :)

Delicious breakfast here! I had the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. It was so good and the bacon was crispy and flavorful too!
Ive always enjoyed this place for lunch thought its always packed with people so i was happy to see a calm and sparse crowd for breakfast.
I definitely recommend.

this chickfila is great! came for saturday lunch and experienced fast friendly service. chickfilas are always bustling sooo nothing new there and the lines do go by pretty fast. i think we ordered, were seated, and received our food in under 10 min. never anything to complain abt chickfila!

They are extemely slow at this restaurant. Here at 10am on a Saturday with a line of 25 and two registers open with one food runner. This is not FAST FOOD today.

The line was crazy long, moved extra slow… they don’t even have a drive thru!!! But they still had like 15 workers running around behind the counter. Doing what??? I couldn’t tell you. I waited for what felt like 30 minutes in line, and then another 20+ minutes to get a lemonade refill. BOOOO. No excuses to be had here. I appreciate having a Chick-​fil-​A in this area, but so not worth it: the spicy chicken was soggy, nobody was extra nice, and the lemonade bubblers were broken as well, so the lemonade wasn’t effervescent. Disappointed.

This location is a disgrace, I waited in line for 20 minutes. Employees standing around, one register was open and 15 people standing in line behind me!
DISGRACE!!!

No drive thru, makes for lunchtime madness inside. Lines around the restaurant, crazy wait times. Spend your whole lunch hour waiting

With that being said they are really nice. I came here for lunch a few weeks ago. My hands were pretty full with bags, food, and a toddler. Someone carried our food and someone else carried a high chair outside for us.
I like that they have disposable place mats. We had our own, but it was nice to see. While we were outside eating the staff came to check on me and asked if I needed help with anything.

My first time at this location I had a great chicken sandwich that left me satisfied the entire rest of the day. The wait for the food was unusually long (30+ min aftet our order) bc there was a line that snaked around the store. But a staff came out with 2 free milk shake vouchers for our troubles! Most Def a 5 star experience. The chicken was juicy and fresh. Don’t forget that Chik fil A sauce, too.
Do me a favor and don’t get a SALAD when you’re there!

I have been coming to this Chick Fil A since the grand opening. I was amongst those who would travel to Montgomery Mall or even Downtown Silver Spring to go to Chick Fil A. I was SOOOO excited to hear we were getting one on Rockville Pike!
Two years later, I still love coming here. I’ve never had any issues with food quality or attitude from the staff. Sure, the lines can get pretty long but it’s the only Chick Fil A in Rockville, so what do you expect? They power through the lines and serve you hot, excellent quality food in a pretty short amount of time. No complaints there!
The ONLY thing I can complain about is the fact that the sealed off kids play area is a freaking INFERNO in the summer. The sun hits it full blast and apparently there’s no AC in there. My daughter loves it pretty much all year, with the exception of the hot summer months. If Chick Fil A could install some cooling in there, then all would be great.

I’ve only been here once, but that Spicy Chicken sandwich meal is all it took for me to realize there’s actually truth behind what so many people have said about this place. Forget all the other fast food chains. Now I know what I’ve been missing out on all these years. And I love the fact that I now have one down the street from me. Super convenient. McDonald’s, Popeyes, Arbys? I don’t think so. Chick Fil A? Oh yeaaaa! Talk about a breath of fresh air. Finally, a fast food chain where the chicken actually tastes like chicken. And don’t forget to try their waffle fries. You won’t regret it.

It’s Chick Fil A so you know it will be awesome food. I agree with the previous reviewer who said their Spicy Chicken sandwich is the best fast food meal out there.
At this particular Chick Fil A, high marks for:
— Interesting variety of seating arrangements.
— Line is always long but moves fast.
— Nice outdoor seating.
— The cleanup people are super nice.
Less excited about:
— the lack of a drive-​thru.
— behind-​the-​counter people are not as bend-​over-​backwards nice as I’ve seen at other Chick-​Fil-​As.
— hard to get to.
Maybe it’s a good thing this branch is a little hard to get to. Otherwise I’d be here too often. Chick Fil A food rules!
