The Steak&Cheese, Italian Cold Cut subs are delicious quite large and very fresh. The pepperoni pizza is very good, haven’t had any other type yet

We love Angelo’s for pizza — delivery or take out. It’s just really solid pizza. Everything is clearly made to order and is the best we’ve found in Rockville. We’ve also really enjoyed their subs — made fresh with excellent ingredients. In our experience, be prepared to wait a while for delivery (at least an hour during busy times). It is much better to call and place an order. We’ve experienced longer wait times when ordering through a delivery app. Take out orders are much faster if you can swing it.

Imported Italian sub is very close to what you might get in nyc. Order it with everything.

As a fan many years ago of the prior location in Cloverly I was happy to rediscover this place at the Norbeck location. I’ve only been here during lunch time so I can’t speak towards their delivery or evening service. Get the Imported Italian Cold Cut sub. For the record, I am so NOT a cold cut sub kind of person. That being said I still gave this sub a try after reading the reviews which were spot on. It was awesome! Get it with all the works! The 8″ is more than enough for one, even two people. Their pizza is ok. As a self proclaimed pizza aficionado it was so so. Not exactly rushing back for more.
Their pre-​made pasta creations differ depending on the day and time. I haven’t quite been able to pinpoint their schedule. Sometimes when I’ve been there they don’t have any prepared dishes in the freezers aside from ravioli. Other days they’re bursting at the freezer seams. It’s difficult if I want to buy it and the shelves are empty at noon! My advice would be to not count on what they might have for dinner just in case. Plan a few days ahead just in case ravioli is your only option.
Cons — There are two critical cons. Of course the parking like everyone mentions. Especially on Wednesdays (I think) when the Greek place has their weekly lunch special. Parking is even more of a hot mess. It’s not just the lack of parking but the layout of the parking lot. There’s a million signs about where you can park and for whom with the different tenants. Take the advice of others and park in the hardware store spots along Georgia Ave. My other peeve is the time it takes to get my order. It really shouldn’t take 15 minutes at 11:45 before the lunch rush to make a sub. Regardless of what you get, even if it’s a sub that should be made quickly, everything takes a good 15 minutes or longer. Maybe call it in. I would definitely come here more frequently if it didn’t involve waiting around for so long!

And they only get 1 star because I can’t give zero.
I ordered food from them @ 6:49pm. I didn’t receive my order until 8:35pm –_​-​. On top of being late, the buffalo wings were over cooked and the steak & cheese was thrown together any type of way. I asked for light hot peppers & my sandwich was saturated in them. The bread was also very hard. I was incredibly disappointed with this meal. I will not be ordering from them again.

Incredible Pizza, Calzones and Imported Italian Sub. I could not be happier to know that they deliver to Olney. I always look forward to trying something new on their menu. Thank you to everyone at Angelo’s!!!

I tried this restaurant because they deliver on grubhub. It’s difficult for me to asses the food because I only tried a white pizza and small chicken caesar salad. The food was delivered on time, with a smile and it was good. What more can you ask for in delivery?
I will need to visit the store sometime to try the subs or pasta which I hear are quite good.

Really, I hoped for a nice pizza. It isn’t difficult. Well, when my pizza arrived, not only was the pizza dough leathery and tough, it wasn’t even cut right!
Who is making these pizzas? I am very disappointed as an Italian.

Originally I intended to get a gyro at The Big Greek restaurant but there was no parking. Decided to try Angelos across the street instead. So glad that I did! The imported Italian cold cut is definitely one of the BEST subs around. Thought no one could beat Marchones in Wheaton for an Italian — but that place (now called Fillipos) just isn’t as good anymore. Tried the regular Italian at Angelos and it was good — however I recommend spending the buck and a half more for the imported version. There’s an extra kick with the spicy ham. Also had the lobster stuffed ravioli recently. It was a little expensive but well worth it. Made it at home served with vodka sauce. The kids loved it. Great subs and in-​house pasta. Gonna try the pizza next.

This is an excellent neighborhood Italian restaurant and deli! The pizza is our family’s favorite in Montgomery County, and the calzones are the best we’ve ever had anywhere. Highly recommend.

First time here and was not disappointed. I frequent the big Greek café next door and have been curious about this place. Looked at positive reviews and decided to give it a shot. I’m always impressed if a local deli has a good Italian cold cut and this place certainly does. All of the meats were fresh and high quality and toppings good too. Only complaint was the bread. It was similar to a grocery store baguette and a tad too much. Overall, very solid!

I’ve been coming to this location for years. I used to go to the Cloverly location since I was 15 back in 1993. They sold the Cloverly spot and relocated here.
They have awesome subs and great pasta, chicken parm, etc. dinners you can get from their refrigerated area. Their pizza is great as well.

Angelo’s is a great option for fast, inexpensive Italian food in the Olney area. I have ordered food from here multiple times and have never been disappointed. My husband always gets either the Italian cold cut sub or the imported cold cut sub and he says both are delicious. I have had subs, pasta, and tonight I had a pepperoni and ricotta calzone. It was the best calzone I have ever tasted and actually inspired me to write this review. I am looking forward to trying the pizza soon.

Oh my gosh! Such a must go to if I could give any words of encouragement to go! I ordered the linguine and vodka sauce. it was knocked out of the park! The noodles were a perfect and I mean absolutely perfect aldenté. The sauce.. Oh gracious, the right amount of acid and creamyness.. Goodness! It was topped off with plenty of amazing parmesan shreds. Now how it was served. in a giant to go plastic container. do not, I repeat, do not get a plate, the container serves as the multipurpose bowl and to go container. You get a good 2 pounds in a serving, which is plenty for your monies worth. I never even touch the garlic bread at any place, but this stuff is pretty fantastic. Check out their grocery and freezer selection! They carry San Marzano tomatoes! Definitely the best pasta around besides Piazza Mia in Dover. Definitely made a return customer out of me!

Very good food, have had the chicken parm sub, entrée and mozarella sticks. Delivery has always been good and pretty timely.

We got pizza and some subs. i got a philly which was ok nothing special. the italian sub was pretty good. and we got a plain cheese pizza, it was good at first but after a slice it got very salty. they need to tone down on the salt in the pizza. not sure if id come back again.

I am from Philly and appreciate a good cheese steak which is hard to find around Rockville.
I ordered the pizzeola with pizza sauce and mozzarella and it was very tasty. My only suggestion is to not chop the steak. It will be juicier if you grill on both sides.

Friend and I visited today for lunch. I had read the reviews on Unilocal beforehand and had my heart set on the steak and cheese sub, and my friend got the pizza lunch special.
— steak and cheese (with everything): the first thing that caught my attention was the toasted bread on the sub (crisp on the outside, soft and warm on the inside), then the pickled hot peppers (perfect amount for just the right kick), and large, freshly sliced tomatoes. All the ingredients prepared in the right way made for a beautiful collision. Bravo. I could eat this everyday.
— pizza lunch special (pepperoni, mushroom, sausage): 2 slices of pizza and soft drink was the meal. It was good pizza, toppings were quality. If the crust was a bit crisper it would’ve been ideal. It was interesting to see that pepperoni pizza was not one of the standard options. The pizza starts with just plain cheese, and any additional topping was $ 0.50 (we felt that was a bit pricey for 2 slices).
We are definitely interested in coming back to try their tiramisu and canoli (per the advice of other Unilocalers)!

Best steak and cheese. I love that this spot recently opened up on Norbeck Road. Fast service/​delivery and good prices.
