ABC Paving & Masonry

I called ABC to give us a quote for a parking pad. Patrick came out within two days, was reasonably priced, offered a quality product, was personable, and I thought we had found our contractor. We didn’t even get any more quotes, we were so sure that this was the company for the job. We got HOA approval and notified Patrick, expecting to have the project finished in short order.
However, that was almost four months ago. In spite of repeated attempts (2 emails and about 15 phone calls to both cell and work) on our part to schedule the work, it remains undone. Most phone calls simply aren’t returned. Twice he’s made arrangements to come to our house on Saturday and not shown up or even called to let us know not to hang around twiddling our thumbs. I would have given up long ago but about two months in I asked him straight out if he was interested in the job or if we should look for someone else. He went to great length to assure me that of course he wanted the job, he was just busy, yada, yada…
We are now back at square one, getting estimates. Unless you want to waste your time waiting endlessly on yet another unresponsive contractor, I recommend that you give ABC a pass.
